The Incredible Adventures

Hi Everyone,

For those who dont know me or have short term memory loss  , this is Sid aka Siddhu aka Siddharth aka U know Better. And you ( Although it is so blatantly obvious ) are on my website - The Incredible Expiriences ( *Applause* ). This website has been created to chronicle my expiriences in São Paulo, Brasil and to act as an interface for communication (  Including but not just limited to talking , chatting , gossiping , well wishing ,etc ) between me and my friends all over the world. ( *Displays uncontrollably colossal enthusiasm*).

Once upon a time in land far far away (*well not so far away thanks to modern aviation...but still*)...there lived a boy called Sid (*Siddharth actually but.....just dont bother*).......so much for that adventuristic start.

Sid used to live in the city of Hyderabad , India with 3 million people , studying at The Hyderabad Public School , Ramanthapur (*Wild applause*). His father is a Chemical Engineer and his mother a teacher at The Delhi Public School.I almost forgot to mention his disarmingly cute and adorable but terribly annoying little brother studying at the very same school.

Sid had just completed the 2 most challenging tasks of his green life -

• Entrapping a house fly using only the palm of his left hand
• His CBSE Class 10 Board Exams

I interrupt this narration to transmit an important and long delayed message.

For my parents , family and friends , Mr.Subbarao Típirneni , Mrs.Sheila Ramakrishnan  , Dr.U.Ravi Rao , Mr.Anil Dundoo , Mr.B.Ramgopal , Mr.Ashok Thadani , Rotarians of The Rotary Club of Secunderbad Cantonment and Rotary International and everyone else who have supported , guided  and made my particpation in this wonderfull (*mispelled deliberately*) experience possible.

3:30 Pm 28th February , 2005

Downtown ,São Paulo, Brasil

...Suddenly the city was covered by a blanket of darkness.
Entirely prepared for the struggle against mother *annoying* nature the urban jungle responded by activating its ultra modern lighting system.
Walking on the street Sid found himself desperate for cover from the stromy rain that followed. It looked like a nice day for a walk in the park...but that was the way of the weather in the big city - Unpredictable Yet Deliberately annoying and passively aggressive. Yes , Kids you can always count on the weather to mess up your seemingly perfect outdoor adventure.

....Sids thoughts were interrupted by a flashes of thundering lighting ...and the following series of incidents have been accounted to us by the omnipresent non-existant Big Brother -

• Branch of a intimidatingly large tree breaks down on to the street.
• All traffic comes to a halt
• Sid Moves tree branch *Hurray*
• Second gale of wind brings down the Whole tree *Booooo*
• Sid encores *Applause from the ever dimwitted ignorant and cowardly transitors*
• The Incredible Sid is prodigally soaked.

PS : Sid saves the day.

Moral of the Incident : He who carries no umbrella is the weatherman , he who carries no umbrella and is soaked is the poor man , he who carries no umbrella and saves the day is The Incredible Sid , he who carries an expensive silk umbrella and sells it is in all his drunken revelry is The Umbrella Man

So what is Rotary Youth Exchange about ? Why its all about the various cultural expiriences , and better understanding of various worldly and wordly matters , creating a constructive atmosphere for the future generation and thus making the world a better place to live.
