A coalition for human Middle East

Our goal
The name of our site, 'The Human Mideast', expresses its essence. Our goal is to bring about the humanization of the Middle East by transferring the leadership and influence of the region from the hands of the extremists into the hands of the moderates, thus allowing it to be led according to the great humanistic rules ‘don’t do anything to others that you would not want done to you’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself’.

Our site is intended for everyone: Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druses, Kurds, reformists and seculars of all origins, women, gays, and any other individuals and groups which feel that Mideast fundamental extremism wounds their justice and peace. All are invited to share this site. Our mission is to supply sufferers throughout the Middle East - of all origins - with a true listening, dialog, support, and a new hope.

The Middle East is the heart, the birthplace, and the passionate center of all three great monotheistic religions, and this fact seems to be a source for endless wars and conflicts. We think, however, that with all three great religions strongly committed to the main humanistic values, it may enable switching this wounded area around from being the main source of world’s pain, into being the main source of justice and peace for the world.
