Welcome to my new website where I will chart my progresses through self publishing and being published (there's a challenge!). Some publications will be of the collaborative kind, like Another HairCut?. The publishing game isn't easy, by what I can see of it, whether a writer or a publisher - or both - but who can resist a challenge?
I have burnt those midnight candles till there's nothing but molten wax left, but as long as there's writing life in me, there's a stock of them just waiting to be lit.
Doesn't TheHouse Of Meredith Publishing sound grand? It's tongue in cheek, of course, as you may have gathered, if you've come across my blog The House of Meredith, where I'm researching the Meredith connection to royalty - for a writerly purpose, of course.
Tea Time Morsels: A Collection of Short Stories Tea Time Morsels: A Collection of Everyday Stories This collection of stories is largely based on the everyday, although there are some exceptions. Some have been published before, in collaborative anthologies written in aid of charities, some on the Internet, one or two in magazines. ‘Sudanese Cries’ was used in Woman Alive, a Christian women’s magazine, as a basis for a charity drive for the Sudanese (my fee went to a charity working out there). Many have come about because of challenges and prompts of various kinds. There will be more morsels to come. (80 pages ) Paperback book : £7.99 Download: £3.50 Available from www.Lulu.com/uk |
