Passion's Note's NOTE: Passion has a mismark on his front foot. This guy is nice and smooth and full in his hind quarters. Thats realy the only good thing about him. But since the rest of my bun buns (for the most part) are having problems in this area, I may need to use him to see if I can get my babies to fill out down there too. Hopefully the rest comes from mom.

Little Bit A Boo's Notes NOTE: Little Bit A Boo is a typical early lionhead. He is large in body but really isn't all that bad in type but not great either if you know what I mean. Also he has the typical lionhead good temper. I think he will be good to start on my BEW herd as it is really hard to get any BEW or BEW carriers in my area.
Little Bit A Boo's story -- I found him in a place that smelled so bad that my whole car stunk really bad all the way home (a 3 hour drive) and it took quite a while to get the smell out of him. It makes me sad that my BEW bun was in that kind of condition but we got him out and he is a lot happier now. I didn't think I would be able to get any of the BEWs that were from my idea (A&K) but I did stumble across him and I'm glad I did.

Wetzel's Birch's Notes NOTE: These are Wetzel's notes that he sent me - "Birch has very very nice type, small compact body and full hindquarters. He has lost most of his mane, although he still has plenty of transitition wool on his flanks. I think he is or would be a fairly nicely maned buck but he likes to rub on every and anything in his cage so he has broken most of his mane off. He is of pretty dark shading but not much for scattered white hairs. I am thinking he will end up being about a 3 to 3 1/4 size buck."

TLC's Passionate Alure's Notes NOTE: This young lady is a very nice doe. She is so friendly and out going, She is a nice small size with great type. We expect wonderful babies from her. Thank you Traci for this great bunny. We really enjoy having her. She is also a DJ's Firestarter great grand baby (meaning she is of the firbear line). She has all Wetzel's line on the Dam side and has Cimmaron's, DJ's and Setke's lines on the Sire side.

Queenie TH1 Agouti Doe / F1 / DM

Queenie's Notes NOTE: Queenie is very interesting with an interesting story. She talks a lot by chatering at you kind of the way a squirrel does. I have not seen this before and I love it. She is a VERY cool rabbit that is so fun to play with. Queenie's story -- Queenie was bought at a pet store by a lady. She expected a little bunny. Queenie grew and grew till she was a BIG bunny! She was kept with another buck of another breed and then when the lady was *surprised* to find that Queenie was due for kits, she took Queenie to the pound to be distroyed. The pound called a friend of mine and asked her to take her in so that they didn't have to put her down. She did ofcourse. When Queenie had her kits they went to good pet homes. Queenie however stayed at my friends rabbitry for 2 years. She was given to me because I liked her so much and my friend knew that she would be well cared for. Surprizingly, Queenie actually has good type. If you were to blow a lionhead up to be her size, she would be what a lionhead should be. She also has really good mane. She is at least 3 years old and has long thick mane and skirt (flank wool). Thats after pulling a bunch out for babies! And she was a good mom. The only thing against her is her size. I am going to use her and see what I get.

Just to let you know, there is a bit of history on this little guy. When I got my first Lions from Wetzel in 2000 or 2001, I had the idea to start on BEW's and make sure that they are accepted some day. A&K who were friends of mine at that time got them started but then I closed down. This guy is a direct decendent of that idea I had years ago. How exiteing!
