The Grinning Idiots are a Friendly, NON-POLITICAL, laid back, bunch of guys n gals from around Abercarn in South Wales. We meet every Friday night at the Cwmcarn Hotel, in Cwmcarn South Wales at about 7.30pm, where there is a friendly atmosphere and bands play most weekends. We try and attend as many rallies as we can throughout the year. The big, club run, being mainly the Welsh Show at Builth Wells, although we also support the Harley Federation at Usk, Welsh Coast and MANY others...
The Club was formed in 2002 by a bunch of people who wanted to remember a friend who lost his life in a motorcycle accident, but had a dream to set up a club called the "Grinning Idiots" (hence why we are called it? Funny that!) These people were Griffy, Denty, Proby and Mrs Griffy (AKA Tigger) and since then the club has grown in size to what it is today. There are currently 20 members in the club ranging from 18 to 80 years of age. Sorry for giving your age away Gramps.
