Endangered Species: The Grey Wolf

Environmental Importance

They are important in the controlling the population of all the creatures they prey on, and as top predator they will effect all other animals in their environment. They are also an important step in the cycling of energy within their ecosystem, as they are the last step before decomposition.

Symbiotic Relationships

The only relationships they share with other creatures is Parasitism which is inflicted upon all the herbivores that they eat. Parasitism is when one organism benefits and the other is harmed, from the relationship.
