TEAM RATING:  8       THE GREENWOOD F.C   5 - 2  YARDLEY AMATEURS F.C

MANAGERS COMMENTS:

I thought 1st half we was excellent and carried this form on from last week against Cloisters, the only negatives i have is 2nd half we switched off and didnt play at the same high tempo as the 1st but i know it can be hard when your 4-0 up at half time, the other thing i noticed was when we conceded the 2 goals we was blaming certain players this is totally out of order as we are all in this together and at some point we have all been at fault, otherwise good performance on the whole and lets carry this into next week...

TEAM RATING:  4       PLOUGH F.C   4 - 1   THE GREENWOOD F.C

MANAGERS COMMENTS:

1st 20 mins i thought we did ok and should of scored a couple of goals but we gave away a shocking 1st goal and after that we fell apart, we have to get into our heads that when we concede a goal we carry on as normal as this is a worry as teams will sometimes score first, but we have to regroup and go again rather than press the self destruct button, we need a massive improvement going into next weeks match against cloisters...

TEAM RATING:  4    THE GREENWOOD F.C  1 - 3  WINDERMERE F.C

MANAGERS COMMENTS:

Probably the worst competitive match i have ever witnessed since i took on this team, we lacked everything today and the ratings i have given you should reflect that, lack of pride, passion, communication, desire, the will to win. Without all of these how do u expect to win football matches? Players turned up today with the cant be arsed attitude and got changed like they knew they was playing! Also to many of you think your better than what you are and that this league will be a stroll, well let me tell you this we aint as good as we think we are and most of you need 2 realise you have to earn the right to play football and compete like Windermere did. I hope you all take this on board and turn up sunday with the right attitude as we wont win nothing if we play like this again...

MANAGERS COMMENTS:

I thought we threw this match away to be fair lads we was 2-0 up and had alot of chances to make it 3-0, that would of killed them off and we would of went on and won comfortably, as soon as they scored our heads dropped and we stopped playing, football is a 90 min game and we must keep going to the end and when we have a team on the back foot we should kill them off, hopefully we will put it right next week... Up the Greenwood.

 MANAGERS COMMENTS:

I thought we started the game at a high tempo and was always in control of the match, the only dissapointment for me was the scoreline as we all know the chances we had it should of been at least 15, but for the 1st game it was an excellent display and on another day them chances will go in, and the plus side of it is at least we are creating them chances. 1st one out the way lads lets take our recent good form into next week away to Hampton Sports.. Up the Greenwood.
