Our league is a League for adults only.

Thank you in advance for reading and adhering to the VINES' Rules. These rules are in addition to the rules set by Cases Ladder and MyLeague.com. Failure to read these rules does not make you exempt. These rules are in place to keep the peace and make sure you have a fun and fair time with the GRAPEVINES!

At times when we conduct tournaments in private chat, adult language is allowed, and we do laugh and joke about adult topics. Even though we do discuss adult topics, making racist statements, statements against a person's sexual orientation, statements against any religious beliefs or politics is against our League rules.

If a League Member says something in a tournament that offends you please contact the League Owners or the Host via IM or e-mail.

Please do not argue with another League Member during a tournament and do not report them to Pogo for something that was said during a tournament. This is not in keeping with the spirit of our league.  

During our tournaments, the Tournament Director (TD) is hosting the tournament and is in charge. The TD will make all decisions including but not limited to scoring disputes.

If the tournament is held in private chat, ONLY the TD can invite non-league members into the private chat. Please REMAIN in PC and do NOT bounce back and forth to Main Chat. The Host will check for Members in the Lobby. If you are in our tour room and see all our names but do not receive a greeting from any of us, that is an indication we are in Private Chat. Please click on the Host's name and request to enter the private chat of the entire group.

If we don't have enough members registered for a tournament we will postpone it.

Cheating is definitely not an option. Remember we play for fun! Any type of auto program or cheating of any kind will be reported to Cases Ladder and Pogo and you will be dismissed by the league.

Please remember to treat all members with respect.   We love humor, and our League is all about laughter and fun. It's about laughing WITH people not AT them.
Please remember to be courteous to all players and non-members in a League room. Any harassment and/or abuse of any kind to the Hosts, HTDs, Admins and Players will not be tolerated. Absolutely no fighting or arguing with players or Hosts in open chat. If you have a dispute, please take it to Private Chat. 1st offense, you will be given a warning, 2nd offense, you will be boxed (amount of time determined by the Admins), 3rd offense, you will be banned from the league. (this can be altered if needed)

Please make sure to give yourself enough time (at least 15 minutes) to get in the game room. Remember, some of the game rooms fill up rather quickly. We want to make sure you have enough time to get situated, have a snack and enjoy the game while playing. We would like to start the tours on time!

Please remember that Case’s uses Eastern Standard Time (EST) for tourneys so you may need to adjust your time accordingly.

Each Host will go over the basic rules for their game in main chat.

If you poof during a tourney, or if in team play, your teammate poofs, you will have until the end of the current round to come back and qualify for a roll-off. See NOTE below describing a roll-off.

For game scores that end with a tie, you will have to complete a roll-off. See NOTE below describing a roll-off.

NOTE: in case of a roll-off, everyone will continue playing and after the announced number of rounds for the roll-off, the pair will report the Winner/Loser and continue playing. The Host will then report the pairs for the next round.

For games that use the token count, such as Squelchies, please report the last five digits of your Pogo tokens. If in a spin or bonus, please announce in chat and the Host will wait for your score.

For games with table play, such as gin, players are allowed to watch game but not allowed to watch another player’s hand. When setting table, make certain "Allow watchers to see Player's Hand" is NOT checked!

For games that use the leader board scores, such as dice, lottso and bowling, please watch your placement with your pair's placement and report the one who has the higher score as the Winner.

If you are interested in hosting, you must be active with the League and have played a minimum of 20 games with the GRAPEVINES. Even though hosting is on a volunteer basis by VINES' players, each host should try to host a minimum of three games per week. Our players rely on hosts to be here and on time.

If you have a game suggestion (we are ALWAYS open to new game ideas), please submit your ideas to the HTDs/Admins via Pogo Mail or through our emails located on the Directors Area. Be on the lookout for new games or new ways to play the standard games!

We couldn't possibly make a rule for every situation that might occur in our league.   However League Owners will do their best and use their best judgement when making decisions about situations that arise that are not covered in our rules.
