The OT Project

28th September 2007

We have started on plans for a small animation project a collection of short animations chronicling the odd and interesting occurrences within the confines of an Art college and all the strange things the students get up to. The animation will feature the voices of actual art students and most of the characters are loosely based on real people… But we really mean loosely. The Animation is based on a small comic we draw in our spare time to entertain our college friends, they usually star in them but we plan to use as many student as we can. The project should be in full swing or at least be ready by Christmas.

Update

26th August 2007

We must apologise for that lack of... well anything new, we have been having some dreadful technical problems involving our internet connection coupled with general student idleness and we are not sure when we have the time to bring anything new to the site. Alas.

3 years running

February 2007

This marks the third year of our existance.

Admittedly we haven’t achieved as much as we would have liked to over the past three years, but those were awkward and turbulent times, we didn’t know as much then as we do today. We have come to the realization that we don’t have the time at the moment to devote to this site and its productions. But come July when we finish our college course we should have plenty of time to devote to our projects and productions.

Production Update

17th December 2006

Despite our heavy work load we have begun work on 'Mr. Smart 4' with it's all new character models and lengthy script (for a Mr Smart animation anyway) we are confident that it will be the best one yet.

Also we have two new jargon Comics one the way (finally) we just need to put the finishing touches on them, as with our new animation these new comics are in our opinion our best work so far and we hope you will find them entertaining.

In other news: You may have noticed the sites slightly new layout and that we now have a new animated banner.

New Logo

Roberts Goulden Productions
 Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Here is our new logo or at least the general design for it anyway.
We'll have some neater designs for it ready as soon as we can find the time what with it being nearly Christmas and everything and being near the second anniversary of the start of this company, things are still going to be quite slow. Especially considering that college has stolen our rest bite with all the work we've been given.

General Update

14th December 2006

At last I’ve found a few moments of spare time in between all this college work to bring ‘you’ our loyal site viewers something to read. We must apologise for the lack of news and updates, the big problem is not that there’s a lack of things to inform on but in fact there is a lack of time to dedicate to the website… in fact I be should doing my Art History synopsis right now! But there’s a few things I need to get of my chest.

First of all this site and all that is attached to it is a mess, due to the fact that we have changed our company name and we are still in the ‘re- branding’ process, which has also made finding this site quite hard and for that we are sorry.

Secondly, because of this new name and of course all our college work most of our productions have been put on halt. Which means our poor Jargon characters are still stuck in summer… and we can just forget getting the new Lordly Antics pilot done anytime soon, same goes for all our upcoming productions as well. Even Mr Smart is suffering… though he has been going through some development so that’s excusable.

Then thirdly on top of all that we’ve got the college Magazine to work on as well which is being headed by our other company OT STUDIOS which we setup with our college mates, we’ve got all the comics and editing to do for that.

Bang all that together with our novels, social life and sleeping time (Hah!)... And well you get the idea.

So anyway that’s our excuse… we will do our best to get on top of things and start up the Production wheel once again. So until next time ladies and gents I bid thee fare well.

NEW NAME

18th November 2006

After a long discussion... well actually not really long more like few seconds but a discussion none the less we have decided that we will change our company name to 'Roberts Goulden Production' its not quite a flashy as the first one which is good because that’s not the kind of people that we are, plus were not actually Lords so we don't want to imply anything and now Lord Goulden has his own comic/cartoon and is no longer our mascot it just seems silly to name our company after only one of its many productions. So we are now RG productions the new company logo has already been devised and will be displayed with in the next week. That all for now ladies and Gents.

Production Updates

8th November 2006

We would like to apologise for the lack of updates and content on our website, or though there have been quite a few developments we have been suffering from technical difficulties and where unable to attend the website. Over the next few weeks we will attempt to bring you up to speed on all of LG productions advances and any other developments such as the college magazine etc. Until then please bear with us. One development we will inform you of now is our debate as to weather or not we should change the name of our company. We’ve been Lord Goulden Productions for more than a year and a half and it still doesn’t sound right, the only thing holding us back from changing it is the tedious process of re-branding all of our current productions. We will get back to you with the results.

Production News

29th July 2006

The first episode of season four of our Jargon comic is now complete and ready to view, visit the Jargon website for more details.

Also in production news is our plans to give Mr Smart his own website just like 'Jargon' and 'Lordly Antics' this being due to the amount of material we have for him. Mr Smart already has three of his own movies, more than any of our larger productions. Work on his site will begin sometime this month.

Animation Update

21st July 2006

The 3rd episode of Mr. Smart is now complete and up for viewing on the Grand Workshop and later today on Newgrounds. In this episode we introduce a new Character, Sir Hue voiced by the talented Nate Phoenix.
This episode is not very long like all other Mr Smart cartoons, though later in the series once were done experimenting the episodes will get longer and more detailed and hopefully funnier.

Flash Production News

20th July 2006

Here at the studio/bedroom we have made a small breakthrough with our flash work, we now have our own recording equipment, which means no more excuses for putting off large cast Flash productions such as Jargon and Lordly Antics, also our new found ability has also give us a few new ideas as well… shame about the weather though…

Newgrounds

4th July 2006

You can now view our Flash work on Newgrounds! Now our work can be viewed by a much wider audience, this will hopefully help the growth of our ‘company’ and aid our ‘rise to fame’ (Hay we can dream)… scroll to the bottom of the page the find the Newgrounds link.

Animation Update

22nd June 2006

We have just completed work on a new flash production, set in the same world as Lordly Antics, though far removed from its plot. We tell the story of ‘Old Wood’ and all of the wonderfully strange and amazing creatures that live there, some of which were inspired by our close friends. The main character or should we say main creature is the infamous and mischievous Red Skick. Follow the link below to view the flash movie…
The Red Skick

General Update

13th June 2006

With the start of the summer holidays our free time ratio has expanded considerably so now we have 8 weeks in which we can fill this site with new work. As you can see the site has undergone yet another face lift to make the whole think look just that bit more professional. Works to come; The fourth season of ‘Jargon’ is still in the design stage the will be some changes to the comics length and layout. You can expect more adventurers from Mr Smart and possibly a few ‘Lordly Antics’ themed flash shorts. Also some new productions such as ‘Bitey in old Blity’ & ‘The Odd Table’ More new on those later we will also try our best to update the site regularly who knows we might even be able to open the forum.

General News

22nd April 2006

With the busyness of life and the tragic passing of a dearly loved one, things have been developing very slowly here, but we would like to inform you that the following things will be worked on soon. The old forum which was messy and complicated has nearly been completed though we are still in need of a decent skin… something that we have tried and tried to complete ourselves but alas there is always one small detail that refuse to work. Also the production of comics, cartoons and Flash films bigger and better than before will soon go back under way as soon as we have got our bearing. For more detail on individual Productions check their pages as we update them.

Production News

Mr.Smart is a cartoon Idea we took from our childhood we’ve already made two Flashes featuring this character and the will be more to come. Enjoy these two little tastes of what is yet to come. Find them on the Mr. Smart Page.

Website News

18th November 2005

There are new updates on the Jargon Section of the website we now have some web polls that we’d quite like you all to vote on, also we have some scripts and one cartoon that were not quite ready to put up here but we will do soon, as for Lordly antics well what with all are college work we’ve been rather preocupied, but when we get some time we’ll start working on some new scripts, and there will be plenty of characters who we will need voice actors for *hint hint *… anyway that’s all for now, until our next update we bid yee a due.

Production News

15th October 2005

It's been a while since our last update... and for the few of you who actually like to check this site quite often we hope that you will continue to do so, we are in the midst of some important college work but soon we will have a bit more time to update the site more often. Now down to business, as we have said the second season of Jargon comics is on its way so don’t forget to check the Jargon page. As for Lordly Antics well not many updates to check there though we will have stared work on 'Ep One' before Christmas, not much more there though. The Jargon Animated series looks to be some time away, we are still on the look out for the perfect voice actors for are characters and of course some recoding equipment (for more info Check the jargon Page). The Bity in Old Blity project is something we will do in our spare time when we get some, right now we don’t have enough material for it to have its own page. So there you have it, except for a little Idea we have about turning are experience in college into a cartoon, comic thingy (Sometimes real life can be funnier than anything anyone could dream up) there is no more news so till are next update… we bid yee A-due (or however you spell it).
