The accolades keep coming for this chef-driven Gastro Pub in the East Atlanta Village.

Named "Best Gastro Pub" in 2007 by Atlanta Magazine, The Glenwood has also been featured as one of the "Twenty Great Meals Under $25." Most recently, The Glenwood was named one of the "Fifteen Best New Restaurants" by Atlanta Magazine. Chef Angel Sutor presents an eclectic, seasonally-driven menu focusing on local and organic products. This neighborhood pub with a garden deck also offers a thoughtfully-crafted wine list—in their recently expanded non-smoking, wine bar—with over 50 wines-by-the-glass and over 150 beers. The new wine bar celebrates both old world and new world wines in a decidely hip and low-key environment. The artisan meats and cheeses are a perfect pair for any of the wine selections.

Situated in the vibrant East Atlanta Village, this versatile establishment is a principal anchor to an emerging entertainment district and is convenient to all parts of the city.

     What They're Saying-

The Glenwood recently opened a smoke-free dining room that also includes a new wine bar...The space is beautiful, with a rough-hewn stone wall, a glistening hardwood floor, terra-cotta colors, pleasantly soft lighting and the wine bar that offers more than 30 varieties by the glass. The restaurant has also added charcuterie and cheeses to its menu to complement the wines. We ordered a combination plate of three cheeses and three meats for a bargain price of $15.50.

Voted Atlanta's best gastropub, The Glenwood serves bar fare with a culinary edge late into the night. Located in the newly hip East Atlanta Village, Chef Angel Sutor offers a seasonally changing menu studded with uniquely southern delights. A new twist on a traditionally Creole dish, the Turducken burger should please sandwich lovers and gastronomes alike.

The other alcohol-fueled trend of note concerns the emergence of so-called "gastropubs." The term has been overused and misused, but basically we're looking at creative riffs on bar food and dishes designed to complement sophisticated beer lists...the best is The Glenwood in East Atlanta.
