Are your earrings suitable for sensitive ears?
Yes, but only the silver coloured ones which are made of 925 silver, perfect for sensitive ears! The gold, bronze and black ones are Rodium plated which may cause a reaction. Do ask your doctor for their opinion! Feel free to request for the 925 silver hooks if you have sensitive ears, I'll be willing to switch it with the earrings you're ordering, although it would look a little strange if it's not the same metal!
I love your earings, but I don't have ear holes. Can I get clip-ons?
The Glass Bead now provides an optional switch from earring hooks to clip-ons for the earrings, free of charge! Now everyone can enjoy a piece of The Glass Bead. Simply indicate in your order that you would like to switch your earrings to CLIP-ONS. (Note: Clip-ons currently only available in GOLD and SILVER. If demand deems so, I will cater to other coloured metals, so feel free to ask!)
Why are your earrings so reasonably priced?
I believe that it doesn't have to cost you an arm an leg to look good! Most of my earrings are priced around $12-$15 which are very reasonable indeed, seeing that buying branded ones can cost you $18 (this is an estimation based on my own personal knowledge). Furthermore, all the earrings here are exclusive and not mass produced so they are certainly worth your money!
Do the prices include postage?
YES, the prices include postage for Standard Local mail in Singapore, regardless of how many items you buy! However, if you'd like to get your package registered, it will cost you an additional $2.50. International orders will cost $2, regardless of the number of items! If I order more than one item, do I have to pay for the postage TWICE?
No, you don't. If you're ordering locally, the postage is already included in the price. If you're ordering from overseas, there is a $1 charge for postage, regardless the number of items!
Help! My piece has broken when it came in the mail! What do I do?
Oh no! I'm terribly sorry about that! Do email me to let me know about it and i will tell you the address to mail it back to so that I can fix it for you! This warranty only lasts for 7 days after you have received the item.
I decided I don't like my item. Can I return it?
Unfortunately, I do not do refunds. If you are really interested in the item before purchasing it, and are 90% sure you want to buy it, do feel free to request for more pictures or more measurements just to fufil the remaining 10% and prevent making a wrong purchase. I will do my best to help you :)
Do you do gift wrapping?
YES, gift wrapping is possible with the purchase of a little organza bag for only $1 from The Glass Bead. Do check out the Gift Wrapping page for more information and pictures on how the little bags look like!
How do you measure your pieces?
For earrings, the measurements include the hook down to the longest part of the earring. For bracelets the entire length of the bracelet is measured from one clasp to the other and for necklaces, the clasps are attached together, then measured from the clasp to the bottom of the necklace!
