The Gifted Alpaca is a store, a studio, a classroom. It started as a simple way for me to show how wonderful Alpaca products are. It has grown and is always evolving. We carry everything from Raw fleeces to beautiful Sweaters, Hats, Blankets and so much more. We not only showcase Alpaca products we have soya candles in amazing scents , Hand made Goats milk soaps. We carry the Trail of Painted Ponies collectables, Eucalan wool wash
We also like to feature local artisits. Whether it is fibre artisits, Knitters, Weavers or silk fusion we are open to all . When you walk in you can smell the dried lavender we have and see the wonderful warm colors of Alpaca. The soft silky touch of a teddy bear or some yarn. Bury your hands in some lovely Alpaca too
The store is also my studio where I sort my fibre and spin it into yarn. I also am learning to weave so will have something going on at least one of my two looms.
The Gifted Alpaca also holds fun classes. We have drop spindle classes where you can learn to spin in one day. Wet Felting classes which are so much fun and you can take home a felted Alpaca scarf. We are planning on doing a class with needle felting. You can make some great 3d sculptures with needle felting. We have coloring pages for the kids and craft pages also.
