The Games Introduction
The Games began in 2003 on Channel 4 and was a surprise hit so therefore 3 more series of the show was produced. It will be returning on Channel 4 in 2007. The format is that 10 celebrities (5 male, 5 female) compete in Olympic-style events and the 3 top athletes from each gender earn gold, silver and bronze medals.
The Games Series 1
In March 2003, the first series of The Games began.
The athletes were MC Harvey (gold men), James Hewitt (silver men), Lee Latchford-Evans (bronze men), Jean Christophe Novelli, Bobby Davro, Azra Akin (joint gold women), Terri Dwyer (joint gold women), Josie D'Arby (bronze women), Melanie Chisholm and Gail Porter.

The Games Series 2
In March 2004, the second series of The Games began.
The athletes were Jarrod Batchelor (joint gold men), Shayne Lynch (joint gold men), Romeo Dunn (bronze men), Charles Ingram, Pat Sharp, Lady Isabella Harvey (gold women), Katy Hill (silver women), Charlie Dimmock (bronze women), Linda Lusardi and Jodie Marsh.

Series 1 vs Series 2 - Champion of Champions 2004
The first Champion of Champions was held after the final night of the 2004 contest.
The athletes for Team 2003 were MC Harvey, James Hewitt, Terri Dwyer and Josie D'Arby. The athletes for Team 2004 were Jarrod Batchelor, Shane Lynch, Lady Isabella Harvey and Katy Hill. Eventually Team 2003 won.

The Games Series 3
Series 3 of the Games began in March 2005.
The athletes were Philip Olivier (gold men), Kevin Simm (silver men), Chesney Hawkes (bronze men), Craig Charles, Jonathon Morris, Danny Foster (replaced Jonathon Morris), Kirsty Gallacher (gold women), Lisa Maffia (silver women), HRH Princess Tamara (bronze women), Mel Giedroyc and Anna Walker.

Series 1 vs Series 2 vs Series 3 - Champion of Champions 2005

The athletes for Team 2005 were Philip Olivier, Kevin Simm, Kirsty Gallacher and Lisa Maffia. Team 2005 narrowly won.

The Games Series 4
Series 4 began in March 2006.
The athletes competing were Jade Jones (gold men), MC Plat'num (silver men), JK (bronze men), Peter Duncan, Adam Rickett, Javine Hylton (gold women), Julia Goldsworthy MP (silver women), Michelle Gayle (bronze women), Amanda Lamb and Bernie Nolan.
