Once again, my apologies for the complete lack of any progress being made. I currently have rather a lot going on, which has made site updates rather tricky, but the design has been progressing steadily (If rather slowly). However, just to prove that developments are taking place, I have included below a mock up of the new design. As may be evident, this features the original tender as I have yet to update the bogie design. The locomotive however is leaner, stockier and more compact than the original. It also is now sporting Boxpoc inspired wheels, although these are somewhat limited by Microsoft Paint, which is my favoured drawing program (although quite why I have no idea). Other additions include the clasp brakes, plus some internal features. Blast pipe design is still under some consideration, it will be either Giesel or Lempor although I am concerned that some of the reports of the latter seem almost too good to be true. The Giesel system, whilst perhaps slightly less efficient will eliminate the need for smoke deflectors and hence considerably aid visibility.
