Today is indeed a momentous day in youth group history! Why you ask? Well today marks the 730th day that the youth website has been in operation, making it an official two years old! Just think, two years and one day ago, there was no website to inform, empower, and entertain our youth group, just a newsletter. Now look at us! We've got news, videos, pictures, chat engines, and sign up forms! How awesome is that?
Happy Birthday!
~Your Two-Year Webmaster
Hello Youth Group! I'd like to introduce another addition to the site! (Yay!) Apparently, Chris got wind of those spiffy "blogs" available on our new fangled information superhighway. So, he has decided to start one himself! You can see his first entry on "Chris's Blog." (Hope you like the name 'cause it took me forever to come up with it.) Be sure to check it out and check back often for new entries! You can also use the RSS or ATOM feeds, if you're techie...

Greetings internet surfers! I bring you information that actually has little to do with anything, but will probably interest you anyway. Those of you who were on the Idaho mission trip will get a real kick out of this!
As you may be aware, there is a massive cultural barrier dividing the country. Different dialects use different words to describe the same phenomenon: flavored carbonated beverages (that's what I call it just to stay out of the fighting
) In Idaho, we discovered that our Michigan counterparts call it pop, while we call it soda. As you can imagine, there was some initial confusion. Anyway, I recently found a study on who calls it what and why and whatnot. It has a map of where it's called different things, and it even gives some weird super-alternative names! All you could ever want to know about soda's different names is right here.
Enjoy!

You can imagine my disappointment when after eight hours at school, I could confidently conclude that I was not dreaming, school had in fact started. Well, despite the inevitable flood of homework, the website continues to get cooler and get updated! The latest new gadget is a new Links page! This one is, much like the Photos & Videos, graphically organized! I have also added some additional detail. Check it out! And also, if you know of a cool place, or website, or something, let me know and I'll stick it on the new Links page!
One more thing... If you were at the Sr. High Bible Study last night, you saw a stunning documentary with us. If you weren't, you didn't! Either way, thanks to the miracle that is the Internet, you can now view this documentary on the Videos page! So head over there and get ready for some things you never expected.
Good luck this year!
~Mr. Webmaster
Konnichiwa! I bring you good news of the website's latest feature! In English, too! If you look carefully at the Navbar, you will see that Chat has been added to the list! This chat page contains a "Shoutbox," which pretty much a chat room! I've heard more than one person suggest this, so now that I know it works well, we're trying it out! So click on the Chat page and follow the instructions to start communicating with your fellow youth groupies!
Keep it real
