If you think your house is safe and indestructible well think again!

You may think that your house could withstand anything, but water, whats with that! You might think that water couldn't harm a house, a little drizzle so what?

Well a heavy rain and a dam bursting, that is definitely not a so what.

Here I will tell you how the rescuers do it.

First a fact, did you know flash floods account for the most deaths in the U.S.

How to help a person if no help can be contacted.

If person is not breathing perform CPR.

Try to find someone to help you.

If nothing can be done try to keep the person above water, if you cannot hold person up try to put them on something floating.

Now here's how the rescuers do it.

They can fly in helicopters to get a aerial view of the land to try and locate you, if helicopter can't land, the crew then radios a small inflatable boat to rescue you.

Or you could try to get on your roof so a helicopter can see you and hoist you to safety.
