1. A floods is when it rains too much and water fill the streets, or when a large boby of water over flows and all the water spreads over an area.

8. 1 billion dollars or more, lots of property can get destroyed, people can get sick from ditty water, and some people die, drown, or get sick.

9. People and animals are usually affected the most because some animals can't swim and dround, and most peoples houses fill up with water and they are left homeless.

10. Now days people can be pretty acurate on when a hurrican or long rain pierods may cause a flood. We still don't know how the water level may get.

11. By inspecting dams and building dams where water could cause floods.

12. By inspecting dams and keeping survival packs handy and listening to radios for weather reports.

13. It depends on where you live, if you live in a high flood area there is a good chance that you will have better coverage.
