22nd April 2007
Well, it's been a while. But those of you who have been paying attention will know that this year's Fishy bid to get into Keynestock was successful. We played our audition on the 1st of March, banging out 'Somewhere to Sleep', 'Lovers Who Uncover', and 'A Nice Song for Nice People', and we were told we'd made the cut at the beginning of April. So, come along and clap on the 19th of May. I hear there'll be burgers and some form of T-Shirt. In the meantime, you can stay up to date with Sally's specially designated Facebook Group. The internet, eh? Cor, dear.

For those of you who have not yet heard, Drummer Dave is due to be making an appearance at our Cherry Tree gig! He'll be coming mainly to watch, but don't rule out the possibility of a guest drum or two...

Welcome to the New Year, all! With luck, 2007 is going to be as tinglingly exciting as 2006 was; we've all been putting ideas together and we'll get cracking on a second EP before too long, which should be circulated within the next few months. First things first though, we have a few gigs coming up: this Friday sees us play Woody's Sports Bar on campus for the first time, and we'll be unveiling a new song or two. Then next week we have another show at The Cherry Tree (followed by Doctor Dark) on Tuesday 16th, and a K-Bar gig on Wednesday 17th to round up the mini-tour. There'll also be specific details of our postponed Keynestock audition coming shortly, but it is due to take place sometime in February. Splendid.

2nd December 2006
Howdy ho, strangers. Many thanks to everyone who came to either of last week's shows; we had a great time and hope you did too. We also sold the final batch of the 'Best Wishes, Eddie Allen' EP at the Cherry Tree on Tuesday, and so until we decide to cash in and begin making some more, I'm afraid that's it! Congratulations if you got one, and especially if you got one of the very first signed copies, and ESPECIALLY if you got Drummer Dave to sign it with a personal message back at the barbeque way back in May. Golddust etc... Anyway, don't worry if you're just a little slow on the old uptake and missed out, because we're already formulating ideas for the next CD. After this Wednesday's gig at the K-Bar (come, come, people), we'll start finalising some songs, and recording is planned to take place over Christmas and in the first few weeks of the new year. Stay posted for any updates.
