Horse Barn Fire - April 2006

This is my first work team rounded up by Don Calison of Kansas City. Row 1: Vinny, Paul, Frank, French, Bob, Don, Brian. Row 2: Doug, Ken, Gary, Bob, Todd, Homer

Their primary purpose was to begin clearing the site for the new lodge. They cut down dozens of large spruce trees. They dug up, pushed out, and hauled off stumps.

They cut up limbs and brush and burned for several days. The logs were cut up and hauled to the splitter to be made into fire wood.

Their talents were not limited to chainsaws. They poured some concrete, worked on electrical, mechanical, welding and carpentry projects in addition to being able to operate our tractors and bulldozer.
