"These sessions started right after the west coast tour and the big break-up. Well, after Eugene Difrancisco and Arthur PW left the band (upon arriving in Boston's Logan airport from the west coast tour). We did 'COCKWORK' and 'ANAKONA' in the live shows but the backing tracks were taken during the break-up. I started working with Elaine Walker from the Band ZIA. We reworked 'ANAKONDA' and 'COCKWORK'. Then worked on 'ANIMAL MAGNATISM' and 'CATWOMAN'. Elaine waz trying to start her own band ZIA and work with DDT. So I knew our working time together waz going to be short. We finished up with 'X-TA-SEE' and 'COITUS INTERRUPTUS'. I waz left short for tracks to complete a full CD. So I did 'SWEET DREAMS' and 'SERPENTS EGG' myself. We released the first mixes az a 12" 5 song EP. Later I slightly remixed them for the FUNFUNDIVERZIG CD. Its one ov my favorite collections ov SLEEPCHAMBER musick. I think it's the way the sax mixes with my violin effects. It's just a unique sound to me. The rekording sessions were probably the least stressful. It waz also the departure ov Laura Chopelas on Sax. She left at the same time Elaine left.... so what's new? Time to reform a new lineup."
