The material iz quite unique. "Sanatorium" iz remixed and edited down to 20 minutes from a video soundtrak ov 1989 that stands on its own. "Succubi Sister" iz an unreleased track from the "SIAMESE SUCCUBI" sessions. It features Laura Graff on spoken words (to whom this release iz "in loving memory ov"). Another "Succubi" track iz "Psychosexual" - left off because Zewizz felt there were already too many instrumentals on "SIAMESE SUCCUBI". "No Air No Way" iz featured remixed and unedited, much better than the earlier release. "Blackmask (Hex 23)" iz a keyboard piece done by Zewizz in 2000. It stands outside the usual SLEEPCHAMBER style. It's quite eerie. "Archangel" iz a track rejected from the movie "The Prophecy" reasons unknown. Other tracks are from rekordings ov the 2001 era - planned release on Musica Maxima Magnetica Italian label. All unreleased.
The "SOUNDTRAX" CD iz the first release on Inner-X in a special series ov serious releases.

STOLEN SLEEP NOW AVAILABLE: After a few delays and setbacks STOLEN SLEEP has arrived! Again, as with the CD version of SOUNDTRAX, secured online ordering is available through the Kunaki site. Now available for members of the site is a FORUM. You can use the FORUM to discuss SC, or buy and sell products, or what ever you want. Also, check out the Jonathan Briley section. I spent a few hours last night dressing things up (interrupted frequently by dropped wireless connection.) I also added another writing of Mr. Briley's to his page. It's titled "The Reign Of The Beast Has Begun". 6/16/09
Delays and Updates: I received the test printing of STOLEN SLEEP and I fucked up on the track listing. Kudos to KAYTWO for warning me, but alas for whatever reason I did not head the warning. I added a non printed interview to the press section. It is from last year and is titled "CATCHING UP WITH SLEEP CHAMBER". I also added the interview that I did "SOME GODZ NEVER DIE". It's been all over the internet for awhile, so I thought it was time to bring it home. 6/9/09

Biography
John began his musical career in the late 1970's performing as “John Cage” in various bands. Beginning 1978, under the alias "Green Sex" John began his recoding career. The output was limited and by 1981 "Green Sex" ceased to exist. During this time John began going by the name John Zewizz (or John Ze'Wizz), and even briefly fronted a band called Ze Wizz Kidz in 1979 with friends Aero Cixal and Robert Catalono.
Sometime between 1981 and 1982 Sleep Chamber came into existence featuring John Zewizz, Eugene Difrancisco and Phil Brosseau. Zewizz, Difancisco and Brosseau were friends from High School. Both Difancisco and Brosseau fronted a band called The Product and John had worked as a producer on their one and only single. When The Product folded Difrancisco and Brosseau began a band called Daze Of Trance., John occasionally helped out with Daze Of Trance, even playing on a cassette release as part of the band. Eventually the three recorded with John as the front man in a band they called Sleep Chamber. Very early works were experimental and electronic/industrial in nature. Live Sleep Chamber was often described as resembling a "Black Mass", with smoke (containing a special blend of incense) billowing out of machines, and the band donning black bondage masks while performing on stage. Their concerts scared some local club owners prompting them to ban Sleep Chamber from playing. Local reviewers often accused the band of being Satanic. Zewizz, over the years, has denied this accusation. These early concerts featured Zewizz in different combination's with Difrancisco, Brosseau, and also Malcom Smith (whom Zewizz collaborated with in the bands Dokument and Hidious In Strength), Darlene Victor, and Richard Gellar.
1990 - 2001 SLEEP CHAMBER & THE BARBITCHUETTES
It was during the 1990’s John incorporated bondage/fetish dancers called the Barbitchuettes in to Sleep Chamber live performances. With this addition Sleep Chambers popularity exploded. During live shows the Barbitchuette dancers would perform S & M acts on the stage as well as caressing and dancing with other Barbitchuette dancers. During the Barbitchuettes hay-day with Sleep Chamber it was not uncommon for the band to travel with up to 11 Barbitchuette dancers.
The final blow to John came in 2001 when Barbitchuette dancer and then girlfriend of Zewizz, Laura Graff died of an apparent overdose. Zewizz was questioned by police in the suspicious death before it was ruled an accidental heroin overdose.
- As a gift to fans, Inner-X-Musick will begin a series of ultra limited edition release called the 23ov23 series. 123 CDR's (possibly CD's) of rarities, live shows, and out takes were made. Only 123 copies of each CDR are available.
- A new "Lyric book" is being put together by P. Emerson Williams with help from John Zewizz and myself. This should be for sale on the shop at some point this year.
- Culture Asylum Magazine is publishing a wonderful interview with John Zewizz in their June issue (there will also be an add for the SLEEPCHAMBER shop.)
- Klanggallerie will be releasing "SATANIC SANCTION" in the fall of 2009.
- John Zewizz and Vinyl On Demand are currently working on a 4 LP box set tentitivley titled "666". This Box Set will be a retrospective of the first 6 years of SLEEPCHAMBER and focus on the early cassette releases.
