Welcome!
WELL...on January 20th, 2009, our first Black President became a Reality! His slogan was 'Yes we can,' during the inauguration the people chanted 'YES WE DID!' Now America will get back to its former glory and Pres. Obama will get us out of this mess!
I would have never thought in my lifetime, 53, that I would live to see a black man as President but it has happened. It is not about color or race it is about getting our country getting back to where it was before, to get the economy back to where it was before we got ourselves into deep trouble, and most importantly it is about so many other millions of people like myself, who are in between jobs and to get us new jobs. Nothing lasts forever, like the sad current state of the economy and jobs, and soon very soon we will all find jobs, stable jobs and get out of this mess. What a day in American history, Nov. 4th, 2008.
As for me....I finished my novel 'A CASE OF MURDER(?)', retyped and finally finished my gothic novel 'ANTONIA', finished the following short stories: 'First', 'Crush', 'The Last Room', 'The Project'.
And like everyone else I am still in between jobs and looking for work, and waiting for my long overdue check from EDD after applying for extended benefits, Lord knows I need it soon, I have bills to pay guys!
