After 12 years, The Dillingers have decided to call it a day at the end of 2004.

The reasons are, as is often the case with these things, many and complex, but let it be known that Andy, Mick, Daz 'n' Rick are all still talkin', still best o' mates, and will be sending each other Xmas cards as usual,(unlike Paul, Bruce & Rick...for all you Jam fans!) It is also important to say that despite closing the chapter, 2004 has seen some great gigs for The Dillingers, notably packing 'em in (and keeping 'em there!) at Birmingham's Adam & Eve and Bromsgrove's Hop Pole, both new venues for the band this year.

But all good things must come to an end, and so, after 12 years of punk rock and power pop, The Dillingers will play their final farewell gig at THE HIBERNIAN, Birmingham, on Saturday 18th December 2004. Prior to the farewell show, the band will play at THE HOP POLE, Bromsgrove, on Saturday 16th October. Gigs at this fantastic local venue have been superb this year, with the place quickly becoming a second home for the band.

So, two gigs to go... Make your choice, or make 'em both... It'll be worth it we promise.

A heartfelt thanks goes out to EVERYBODY who has supported the band over the years, and a special thankyou to all former members of the band (Check out the 'Dillingers Story' on the History page).

For now, all other gigs have been cancelled, and it's time to reflect, smile, laugh, and maybe shed a tear.
