EARTH DEFENCE FORCE

A mysterious vessal crashes to earth with no crew and no sign to where it came from, however on board its reactor is going into meltdown, the result of which could wipe out all life on earth. The EDF hatch a plan to launch the craft back into space though for it to work Warren and Joe must stay aboard the doomed spacecraft.

Warren, Joe and Alex travel to volcanic planet "Othnickarr" in an attempt to piece together what happened to the Jaggerath spaceship however a mysterious vessal laucnhes an attack on the planets core. The team must find a way to escape as the planet breaks up around them.

Alerted by the dissapearance of ships in Antarctica the EDF discover a dark unearthly secret left over from World war 2

Once there was a dream, a dream of cooperation, friendship and peace, this dream is the ISA (inter stellar alliance), a large consortium of worlds spanning a third of the galaxy, they found earth on  the border between them and the hostile Draconian empire, as earth  was concidered too early in its development to be interfeared with the ISA declared a protecterite over earth but they did not have the man power to enforce it and earth became a hub for smugglers, defectors and spys. To this end a group of humans who where highly specialised make up a force to defend the planet while still keeping the rest of the population unknown to the existance of the ISA. Given the only technology they could spare i.e failed protypes and old ships the EDF is all that stands between earth and posible annialation.

Discribed as a disparate collection of varied individuals from different backgrounds, the EDF was formed with one purpose in mind – to protect the sovereignty and security of the Earth from extrasolar life, and to protect the majority of extrasolar life (and the rest of space) from humankind. The former includes hands-on protection of the Earth and its inhabitants from pirates, smugglers and destructive aliens, the identification and containment of those that are believed to have made planetfall and keeping the rest f humanity in a state of blissful ignorance as to the existence of life outside the Earth’s atmosphere. The latter extends to the prevention of accidental human discovery of aliens, such as by removing alien artefacts on Earth and preventing satellites from finding evidence of life, and also consists of actually stopping humans from causing any damage to space or other planets.
