What are petpals?
Petpals are little creatures that can be attached to your Zetapet. You can also play with them. Some are retired, and you can only buy them in user shops.
Where can I get petpals?
If you visit the Traders, you can exchange items for "credits". With these credits, you can buy petpals. If it is your first time to visit them, I suggest being as generous as you can be at the moment, because the more you donate, the better discount you get. Be warned though, once you trade in an item, it is gone forever.
Why can't I find some petpals at the traders?
Some petpals have either been retired from the traders, and can no longer be bought there, and others were relesaed in different ways. For example, the Holiday petpals were released from the Giving Tree during the 12 days of Christmas.
How can I attach a petpal?
Go to your inventory. Click on the petpal. Select "Add Petpal". Select the pet you want to attach it to.
How do I remove my petpal?
Go to Pets. Click "View Petpal". Click [Remove Petpal].
How do I play with/name my petpal?
Go to Pets. Click "View Petpal". A window will pop up. If you want to name/rename your petpal, just change the name in the "::Rename" box. To play with your petpal, press "Trick" or "Play". You can lay with your petpal every couple of minutes before it falls asleep or gets annoyed.
What are the little hearts for?
The little hearts show how much affection your petpal has had. When they're filled up, they turn gold.

The first image is the "item" picture of the petpal. It's what your petpal will look like in your inventory. The second image is your petpal if it was attached to your pet on your pet's profile, or when it does a trick.
