Hello everyone and welcome to our website. Many of you may be sceptics, just as some of us are and i'm sure you'll be questioning everything that is posted on this site, and you have every right to. See, rather then work to prove that a place is legitimately haunted, we work to debunk the debunkable and confirm the truth. You must tear everything apart and disect it and try to prove everything scientifically before deeming it haunted. This site is basically a place for people to come to in order to speak of "ghost stories", send in pictures that they would like to be analyzed, and read about other people's experiences. It should be fun and interesting, especially for people in the Staten Island area. Me and my "team" go and venture out to places all over the island and such in search of excitement and interesting pictures. We feel that it would be fun to share our experiences with you all and that's what we will do. You can email your stories and pictures to us and we'll post them up. Feel free to contact us about anything. We have two people that study parapsychology in our group who would be happy to talk to you about things. If you have any suggestions on places to visit or would like to join us then feel free to let us know! We welcome suggestions and new people! We also want to help those who are in need of our assitance. If we cannot help you then we will direct you to people who will help you. If you would like us to do an investigation for you just contact us. We will be more than happy to help you with any problems.

Hey everyone. Some good news and some bad news to report. The good news, tomorrow is the Ghost Hunters University at the Garibaldi Meucci Museum which is going to be awesome. We are also working on the production of business cards and T-shirts (for the group as of now). Eventually if you would like to get some cool The Darkside Gear there will be some available. The bad news is one of our members has reseigned without giving plausable explanations. The cofounder decided to resign randomly one day so we had to let her go. Since then there have been a lot of changes and shifts. Congratulations to Kayla for being bumped up to Stephs status and taking over her position while also maintaining her original role! For now the small group would be a better idea. We also have some honorary members that will be added to the team page soon. Check back soon for more updates. Happy hauntings!

Hello everyone! I am currently updating the site and trying to add all of our pictures and content. It is a really tough job and takes A LOT of time and editing so please be patient! On a good note, we have done A LOT of hunting and have A LOT of content to share with you all. Last night, we did our most recent case which was again, at Seaview Hospital and Farm Colony. It was really interesting and we have some pictures from that night. We also made a brief documentry in which will be posted too. I want to warn anyone who plans on venturing into Seaview that there ARE in fact cops. I also want to give you a heads up that if you are taking a car to get there, do NOT park it on the street that runs off of Braile Ave that runs along the fence of seaview because there IS a cop that lives on that street and watches to see who parks there and goes in! SO DON'T PARK THERE! Also be VERY careful because cops tend to lurk around in the area now to keep out tresspassors. PROCEED WITH CAUTION AND ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Hey again everyone! It's time for another update. I've loaded A LOT of new pictures and content to the site. I want to get everything officially up and running and get the group on it's feet. Everything is going great. I have recently joined the International Paranormal Investigators in their endeavor in uniting the paranormal community. I have added The Darkside to their database and applied to become an offical rep. How that will turn out i won't know until i get a reply. Let us hope for the best, shall we? On another note, we are more than willing to link other paranormal sites to our site if you wish to do the same for us. If you would like, we can post your banner as well. Just let us know via email at thedarksidesi@yahoo.com if you are interested. Also, keep those stories comming! We need more. There are some special events comming up! There are ghost tours at Snug Harbor. It will run for three nights and be $5 per night (a donation basically for Snug). The days are february 9, 10, and 11. You must reserve a spot via the Snug Harbor box office. Let us know if you are interested! There will also be a ghost hunters university on March 3rd. Once again, please let us know if you are interested. Also, let us know if you want to accompany us on an investigation or if you would be interested in joining the group. We have a lot of people that want to join so we are going to be a little picky. You must be fully indulged in the paranormal and have a true as well as SERIOUS interest!
