I know why hunters enjoy what they do. Coming back from a successful hunt is very gratifying. I just returned from a bead hunt! I attended a bead show this past weekend and I have bagged me some beads, findings, and tools! Now the hard part, figuring out what to make with all this stuff. I have many more ideas than I have time. I also would like to update the photos on this to reflect the scope of my work better. For example, I have been dabbling in polymer/air dry clay. I'm happy with how they turned out, however I have yet to sell any of these new pieces. Eventually, I will have online shopping on this site. I already take credit cards so if there is something you would like to purchase, email me. Until next time...
The Creative Native
Here I go again, attempting another blog. This time I'm gonna keep it simple. This blog is going to only pertain to my creative endevors. No ranting about politics, no whining about my non-existant love life, and no mundane daily drivel. In fact this won't be a daily blog. I'll do it when I feel like it!
Right now I need to focus on my latest creation. I'm calling them H2o's for lack of a better term. They are water bottle charms. In essence they are like wine charms but made from elastic for use on bottles. I got the idea when I was at the gym seeing all the same types of water bottles lined up. One person had used a wine charm but it was akward to use when drinking from the bottle. She either had to hold it out of the way or take it off. I thought I could come up with something that would work better. So after several prototypes I settled on the materials to use. I'm happy to say that they are a big hit! So much so that I had to buy a bigger display rack this week. I'm always looking for new ideas and they always pop up when you least expect them. Hopefully I will have a picture of the H2o's uploaded soon. They make great gifts and i can do custom orders. (For example-sports teams, cheerleading, dance, Red Hat Society, etc.) Let me know what you think!
