Look out, Rolling Stone Magazine; it's Hair Band News! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, a website that won't quit rocking! Remember back in the Stone Age when music was actually good? How about when skin-tight spandex could actually be worn in public and not just the bedroom? How about when big hair was the way, and blue eye shadow wasn't just for women? Those were the days of the power ballad, when Grunge was just a bad taste in the mouth. But it came. Indeed, it swept down on us like a plague, wiping the concept of REAL Metal out of the music scene entirely, leaving only the veterans to remember it. We here at HBN consider it our duty not only to remember it, but to protect and nourish that faint ember back to the blaze it was, until it is, in the words of Dokken, "burning like a flame." But since it'll be a while before this actually happens, our short term goals are to get as many hits to the website as possible and build a regional fanbase. In any case, we hope we can take you back to the days when Metal ruled all.
