The Story Of The Chipmunk Ranch !

 Well ! Way Back in 1991 I got Hurt!  Fell and crushed my knee ! 

 So I  started Putting Gods word to work.

 ( Philippians 4:6 -Living Bible )6: Don't  worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs and don't forget to Thank Him for His answers, If you do this you will experience God's peace,which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your heart quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ. 

 And I love-I Thes: 5:17 & 18  Always keep on praying . 18.  No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is Gods will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Anyhow,  There I was hurt and broke and newly divorced from a 29 year marriage . Well I started Praising God . Telling Him  thank you , I got this broken knee and everything else. // Well Let me tell you He started listening to my  needs and my heart. and blessing me.  Soon I got a settlement on my hurt leg ( State Comp) ..And there was just enough  money to buy five acres in the mountains. . I needed something solid in my life so I bought the land. Long story short - the ajoining  five acres  fell in to my hands also. So that went to my son Dennis and his family . So we now had ten acres . 

 I was sitting  out on our acres Praising God and Thanking Him again  . So happy I owned land again and the peace came over me and there near me were lots of little Critters, Mountain Chickadees, and Squirrels, then I started seeing Chipmunks . I mean lots of Chipmunks ...So many I couldn't count them.

I felt like Bambi's mother must of felt when all the forest creatures came to see Bambi.  I was amazed ! It was like they were thanking me.  And they knew I would always try to take care of them  and see they were not hurt . They were so adorable. My heart swelled with thankgiving to God for being so good to me.

 That day , I made God and The Critters a promise to share this land with those who would love it  like I do. And I would always try to have a place for the Critters  to hide  and be safe. !

Due to so many Chipmunks and Walt had Nick-named me Chipmunk The place became know as "The Chipmunk Ranch" !

    We do our best and God is taking care of the rest. !

The more important part of this story is --  When I hurt My leg and thanked God for it .. He sent Walt into my life ..I had  just started to get to know Walt back in 1991 and he said he felt sorry for me and took me home and helped me while my leg was very bad.  And  ( long story-short  ) Several years later ( April Fools Day 1995), we were married and Live Happy ever after .

 Now many friends and family come to share peace and quiet  of The Chipmunk Ranch.

There are Deer , Elk, Snowshoe hares , Frogs In the Pond , Ducks and even had evidence of a bear and a bob cat , Seen a cougar not far  away too ! Its a beautiful place to rest and a great place for the kids to Run wild and free.  Five acres are now Fenced. We have finished two Nature Trails . Fun to walk !    Making a memory Garden. Lots to do and enjoy. We love The Chipmunk Ranch and are still thanking God for his goodness to us. God  Knows what we need. We have now Moved in a New Home and Hope to live there  permanently soon!
