Winter is our fifth piggy who arrived in our home just after Christmas Day 2007. Winter is still curently being fostered by us with a view to adoption. Winter has also arrived from Reading Guinea Pig Rescue and has a horrific story to tell. Her cage mate died in the subzero temperatures before Christmas. Luckily a neighbour contacted the RSPCA who went and rescued Winter. Considering Winter's past, she is such a loving piggy.
Winter's past indicates that she hardly ever received fresh fruit and vegetables. However, since her rescue, this has changed and Winnie enjoys discovering new food treats on a daily basis! It is difficult to say what are Winnie's favourites at the moment, as she tends to eat anything as if it could be her last meal!
In the short time Winnie has been with us, we have learned that she is a very loving girl, who is so thankful to everyone involved with her rescue. She is starting to live in the land of luxury amongst the other Princesses, who, day by day, accept her more and more. It is hard to imagine life without Winnie now. She has made such a differnce to our world.
Hopefully soon we will be able to change the fosterhome into her forever home and she will become a true Butler Princess!
