well, i bought an album from itunes this morning. er, yesterday morning, since i suppose it is the next day. its called electric president by electric president. imagine the postal service, the notwist, the decemberists, and broken social scene all wrapped up into one. it will blow your mind. everything from the instrumentation to the vocals to the lyrics, to the layering and the mixing...everything is just so well put together and great. they do an amazing job fusing electronic sounds with real instruments, its everything ive been looking for.
buy it. it is 10 dollars well spent. |

okay, here is my first blog.
well, its a snow day. i could definately get a lot done on the album, but there isnt much to do any more. im sitting here while it snows vigorously, listening to bloc party, waiting for something to happen. hopefully going to lunch then band practice. (crosses fingers)
thats about it. i will probably use this space to rant about music. different albums that i like and other things like that. maybe even a recommended listening page. |
