It is literally the End of the World. The Tribulation. The final 7 years of Earth's History (for more information look in the Book Of Revelations). One man saw it's beginnings and tried to warn and protect those he loved most.
This is NOT a religious story, even though its basis is in Christianity and the Bible, it is not meant to preach, it is simply a story based on the Bible. A total work of fiction that should not be taken as fact in any way shape or form.
