The Birthday Bus will be setting out on the Mongolia Rally in July 2008 !!!
The rally is a charity event mainly supporting CAMDA, Gemin-i and CDPF. The idea is to purchase a vehicle in this country, then drive it to Mongolia! Once ( if ) we arrive the car will be donated to a charity over there to use or sell to raise funds and we make our way back by plane. The car will be purchased with funds from our own pockets, as will the plane tickets to get home. Beyond this we rely totally on support from everyone else to cover the petrol and visas to get us there, kind of like a driving marathon. Once logged in click on our team name on the right in the 'Teams I Support' section. Then on the menu on the left click on 'blog' ( not the word 'map' ). This page will be updated by us live as we travel across the world and the map will indicate our location each and every time we update the blog.

The team name was chosen as the original start date would have ment team members spending a 21st and a 20th birthday in the middle east. Unfortunately due to a slightly delayed set off this is no longer the case, but we have decided to stick with our original name!!!
