Have a cool drink or get something tasty to eat at the Snackwam. Or plant your feet in the sand and watch the sun disappear into the Gulf of Mexico. Maybe you'll even see a Green Flash!!!
Sept 29th (Friday), 8-11 PM We'll be playing down by the water at the BLUE PARROT RESTAURANT located at the foot of the Corey Ave Bridge at 85 Corey Cr, St Pete Beach. You can come by dinghy if you don't mind tying up at the closed down hotel next door. There's a bit of a dock. And they have plenty of parking at the restaurant. The BLUE PARROT says they'll be serving up BILGEBURGERS as well as their regular menu.
Sept 30th If you're a sailor who likes to race your boat, please join us for the after race party at the 2006 Appleton Estate, Jamaican Rum Regatta. It is going to be held at the Tampa Sailing Squadron in Apollo Beach. Check out www.tampasailing.org for all the details as well as how to register for the race.
Oct 6th, 2-6 PM As a warm-up to the BIG CRUISERS PARTY, we'll once again be playing at the SWIGWAM BEACH BAR. The weather's turning nice and it should be a beautiful day to play by the beach. When we played there last time, we had a fantastic view of the Gulf of Mexico. In fact, every place we've played so far has had a view of the water. Maybe this is why we're having so much fun.
Oct 6th, 8-11 Looks like it's going to be a busy day for us. If you can't make it to the SWIGWAM, you can come see us at the BLUE PARROT RESTAURANT. We played there for the first time on Sep 29th. The crowd was fantastic and they really had a great time. Neither of us had been there before. But we had a chance to sample some of the food after we got done playing. Scott had one of the best hamburgers he's ever had. And Colin had a grouper sandwich that was equally delicious. Bring your appetite, your dancing shoes and we'll see you there.
Oct 7th, 2-5 PM CRUISERS PARTY!!! Calling all boaters and cruisers. And anyone else within the sound of my voice. We're gonna have a BIG CRUISERS PARTY at Mulligans Sunset Grill in St Pete Beach. Like all the places we play at, Mulligans is also by the water. It's right on Blind Pass. So we're gonna try to recapture some of the magic we had playing on the beach in Georgetown, Bahamas. So when Colin sings the 'ICW BLUES' you can look right at the ICW and join in the chorus 'I'm feeling sad, I got it bad, I got the ICW Blues'. We'll have some free t-shirts to give out, courtesy of BANKS SAILS of Tampa. Mulligans has a great menu. Check it out at www.mulliganssunsetgrill.com. They'll be serving BILGEBURGERS. And they'll have Happy Hour prices on their drinks all day. What more could you ask for? Oct 27th (Friday) 9-12PM We're playing at a brand new restaurant/bar. It's called FISH LIPS GRILL. It's located at 6250 Ulmerton Rd, Clearwater, in the former T-Backs Bar. It's at the SE corner of US 19 and Ulmerton Rd. The owners, Tracy & Jeff have done a great job fixing the place up. They now have a tropical, Parrothead motiff. It's almost like being at a Tiki Bar while being inside. They have a great menu and they serve beer & wine. Hopefully a full liquor bar soon. They've only been open for a couple weeks and we're the first band to play there. So please come out and join us and support this couple with their new venture.
Nov 1st(Wednesday) 5-9-:30 PM We made it through Friday the 13th and had a great time playing at Tucson's. They liked us enough to invite us back there. We've also been invited to be guest speakers at the Baysailor's Single Sailing Club meeting that night. So we'll be playing in the cantina from 5-7 during happy hour, then back in there from 8:30-9:30 after the club meeting.

That's right, the Gasparilla Distance Classic. We'll be at a yet undetermined location, along Bayshore Blvd in Tampa, providing moral support to the runners in this annual race in Tampa as they make their way to the finish line during the 5k, 15k and marathon races during the weekend. If you come to watch this event, would you please bring us some breakfast? Maybe we can get some of you to bring coolers & chairs and make a party out of it along Bayshore Blvd.
