Do you have a line which wants a loco to run on?
If the answer is yes, and the distance is not too far (Bucks, Berks, Beds and Herts only please) then the Big Woodrow Light Railway could help. The loco, Christine Mary, might be able to pay you a visit for a day if you have a small number of locos, or if you don't have any locos and you want to get the 'show on the road'.
If you want us to visit, we'll need:
- A mains power socket, so plug in the battery charger to plug the blower into
- An easy access place to lower the loco onto (it's quite heavy!)
- Car access
- And that's just about it - we may need a small donation towards travelling costs
We will consider running on any lines, whether it is for general display or passenger carrying purposes. As a general rule, running for under 2 hours is not worth the travellng time.
