1-29-2007 E512, TW512, R510, M517c, M512c , A510 & BC503 were dispatched
to a head on auto accident on RT 1 south bound in front of Lustine Toyota.
E512 arrived on scene to find a honda prelude that had been struck by a F350
pick up. After the scene size up we had 1 BLS patient who was trapped inside
the vehicle. TW512's crew stabilized the vehicle and began the extrication.
R510 arrived on scene soon after and the tools were switched over and the
door was removed and the dash pushed back. The patient was transfered
over to A510 for transport to Potomac hospital.
1-18-2007 - W512, TW 512 & M512 were dispatched to a construction accident. Dispatch informed us that a large piece of construction equipment had hit the patient and he was injured under the equipment. W512 and M512 arrived on scene for find an adult male who was releasing the ratchet straps from his trailer load when it released the load shifted and struck him throwing him from the trailer. TW512 arrived on scene and secured the load with the tie downs that were already on the trailer. W512 and M512's crew packaged the patient and transported the patient to Potomac hospital.
Box 0250 - Fatality auto accident I95 South at the 160mm. Well it took a few days into the new year but R510 and TW512 were at it again on I95 with an auto accident with extrication. E502 arrived onscene with A510a to find a Toyota pickup that had run into the rear end of a broken down tractor trailer that was on the shoulder of the road. E502 initally reported an auto accident with extrication. R510 arrived onscene and began the extrication process and had stabilized the truck and cut the four posts, Tw512 arrived onscene and assisted with removal of the roof. Once the roof was removed the medics from 552 pronounced the driver DOA. E502, E520, R510, TW512, M552, A510a, BC503. Thanks to all of those who help keep the big top hooked on phonics!!!!!!!

BC 503 arrived on scene first to find a vehicle that had lost control coming from the on ramp to I95 north and was his hit on the driver side by a tractor trailer. BC503 called for a medivac and set up command immediately. W502 (after a little mishap with a garage door that would not open W502's muscle bound driver threw open the door to allow them to be on there way). R510 and TW512 arrived on scene shortly after BC503 and began the extercation. R510 with support help from TW512 had the patient extricated from the vehicle in 10 minutes and the patient was off to the awaiting hands of Medic 552 C shift, from there the patient was taken to the medivac and onto Washigton Hospital Center.
