October 22nd, 2007-
As you can prob'ly see, I've made a few minor changes and I'm still working on everything. Mainly the only thing I've gotten around to is editing my own page. Blah.
If there is anyone interested in making graphics or doing any sort of design, contact me at badhamcaitlin@hotmail.com or send me a note or whatever on deviantART. I'm going to ask for permission to post some "fan art" from those who have done pictures of any of the characters for me, along with my own crap illustrations, so look for that soon. :D
In relation to Bright Pessimism itself, last week I decided to revamp the entire first chapter due to restlessness. And I'll eventually get some chapters up, prob'ly after I finish that.
There's a crapload of stuff I want to do, but time's a bitch, you know?

October 16th, 2007-
Wow. Over two years I've stayed silent. *blink*
So, anyway, here's some crappy letter I wrote to make the whole update interesting.

Dear Mike and the Bad Hams,
This is your unfaithful creator, Cait Shoxxi aka Cait Montgomery aka that purple-haired chick that makes model stock on deviantART. I apologize for my sudden departure from updating about your world. However, I do have an alibi. Well, I don't have an alibi for the first year of leave (mainly it was because I was fucked over by a million migraines and seizures), but I do for the second year.
At the beginning of the year 2007, I began working on a new kind of story: a novel with actual PEOPLE. Yes, they were real, and it was based on some stupid fantasy that I will not publicly tell about. I finished it in some ungodly six months and began to work on a sequel. However, between then and November of 2007, I decided I was extremely embarrassed and decided to scrap the whole idea. So there went six months of work for nothing.
During November, I decided to start another new novel, again with real people. However, at the same time, I started a rough draft of another novel, but it didn't work out in my mind. This was the ancestor of another rough draft, which also never worked out in my mind. This spawned the greatest thing known to my poor mind:
Bright Pessimism.
It was all I ever wanted. I got back into my storytelling elements: suspenseful, horrific, and darkly amusing. I decided to focus all of its wicked fate upon Kristopher Amherst, a seemingly normal fifteen-year old kid. Most of the horror was created through Mistress Llewellyn Rochester, a creature of absolute darkness.
So what does this mean to you guys at the Bad Hams Place? That means I'm evicting you. I'm getting my money's worth by revamping this website into an evil lair based in East Tennessee, where I live and where my novel takes place. So pack your bags, because you need to be out by the time I get off my lazy ass and do something, which is now. It shouldn't be that hard to get up and leave, considering you're not real and only in my mind. In fact, in my mind you've already left. So in reality you're not even here now.
I apologize for the late notice. Bright Pessimism was begun on February 5th, 2007. I should have told you then.
Sincerely,
Cait Shoxxi
P.S. Thanks for your help in getting me here. Without writing your stories I would have never come this far. <3

Hopefully that explained everything. Until next time, I'll be revamping everything.
