Performances
Le Théâtre de la Parole Lyrique and Le Concert Enharmonique made their début performance as a part of the Berkeley Fringe Festival on 2 June, 2008 at MusicSources. Entirely candlelit, with Grand Siècle costumes and makeup, the spectacle was a success, receiving much praise from the audience members. The youthful group meshed well together and brought laughter and tears to the eyes of many. Emanuel Gordis was wildly popular with his fiercely amusing silent performance and Emily Gordis's voice proved a beautiful foil to the mime act. Miriam and Lillian Gordis, declaiming and at the harpsichord respectively, bore the largest part of the spectacle with ease, mixing grandiose metaphor with intimate poetry and humorous interaction with the younger members of the troupe.
