Director Miriam Gordis was born in 1994.  Since a young age she has devoted herself to performing and creating theatrical productions.  Her first passion was the works of Shakespeare, which still inspire her today.   After discovering the works of Molière and Racine, she developed an interest in the artistic world of the Grand Siècle.  She has written her own small theatrical productions in verse based on various classical and biblical themes.  She has been inspired by the work of actors Eugène Green, Benjamin Lazar and by the productions of Le Poème Harmonique.  Her debut roles have included Balthasar of Much ado about Nothing, the Thane of Ross from Macbeth, and Venus in her own masque Cupid and Psyche.  In 2006 she directed The Two Gentlemen of Verona and inserted a spectacle of her own based on the Greek myth Atalanta.  Her original productions (Cupid and Pysche, Atalanta, and The Masque of the Israelites)  have been received with much applause.   " She is like a muse to all around her..." wrote one criticShe also sings whenever she has time. In 2008, she founded the company Le Théâtre de la Parole Lyrique.

Actress Emily Gordis was born in 1997.  Her interest in theater led her to participate in various theatrical productions.  She has starred Julia in The Two Gentlemen of Verona and as Lady Macduff in Macbeth.  She is also interested in music, having studied violin for several years.   She now sings in a beautiful, pure and expressive soprano, which is perfectly suited to early Italian repertoire and the 17th century French air de cour.  She especially admires the voices of Arianna Savall and Serge Goubioud. Her dedication to her wide-spread interests (including journalism) has elicited praise for her "remarkable discipline...(and)...iron-clad-determination."

Mime artist Emanuel Gordis was born in 2000.  Since a young age, he has been involved in theatrical productions.  He played Cupid in the Psyche of Miriam Gordis and Young Macduff in Macbeth.  His interest in mime and commedia dell'arte led him to a fresh and unusual interpretation of Speed in The Two Gentlemen of Verona under the direction of Miriam Gordis.  He has recently begun to make music as well, singing in a boy soprano with feeling and youthful sweetness.  His preferred model is the mime artist Julien Lubek.  He has recently begun a collaboration with the early music group Le Concert Enharmonique.
