Fairness from God's view

Fairness From God’s point of view

Now I want to deal with a real big lie from satan – “God is not fair”. What is fair from a human viewpoint and how God sees it from the spiritual viewpoint are very different Consider the following.

God owns every human being on this planet, whether they like this idea or not, that is how it is. The Creator owns unless He sells or gives away the creation. The only creation God gave away was planet earth when he separated himself from it by cursing it after Adam and Eve sinned. (Genesis 3:17). In separating Himself from the planet (for it is impossible for God to be united with what is cursed) satan was  allowed to enter it (Revelations 12:4 & 9). You ever wonder why God does not step in to save the planet? It’s not His. But we who give ourselves to Him are His.

When God created humans He created Adam first. Then He breathed the spirit of life into Adam. Adam was a Soul, within a Spirit, within a Physical Body. How do I know this:

1.     God breathed life into Adam and he began to live

Gen 2:7  Then the LORD God took some soil from the ground and formed a man out of it; he breathed life-giving breath into his nostrils and the man began to live.

2.     God has given us His word so that we will make a distinction between what we see is alive from human view-point and what God sees as alive from His. The Soul is the life giving breath of God which sustains us but the spirit is that which allows us to be with God as was the case with Adam.

Heb 4:12  The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart.

Then God made a helper and companion for Adam. He split His image (Adam) into two parts but left the spirit intact. One spirit, which resides outside of time connected to two human bodies. Both souls reside in the same spirit. This is in fact what God does when He performs the miracle of marriage, which is spiritual. God gave Adam strict instructions not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, because if he did he would die. God, being a Spirit, spoke from a spiritual viewpoint. We humans see it from a human viewpoint. Sure Adam and Eve died about 1000 years later, but this death was not what God was talking about. When God said they would die, He meant their spirit would die and it did. Ever since that day, that hour and that minute, no one born was born with a spirit. If your soul died (Life force ceased) without you having a spirit (a spirit is a body that can live in the spiritual world) then your soul simply returned to God (who is the author and creator of all life in the universe) after your death, but you as an individual, could no longer exist as an individual you are gone.

What is your soul? It is your mind, your knowledge, and your experiences. It is not you.

Your soul requires a body to continue experiencing past death. Death is simply leaving the 3rd dimension with its limits of time and space and entering the spiritual dimension where there is no time and no restrictions on movement. The body you require to remain an individual in the spiritual world is a spirit.

Let’s recap:

You are born without a spirit (without the ability to exist in Heaven as a separate individual within your own spirit (spiritual body))

If you die without a spirit then your soul (life force) (Luke 12:20) returns to God who is the only one who can create and sustain life (Genesis 2:7) and you cease to exist as an individual. You are not able to continue to exist as an independent spirit from God within God’s Heaven. A bit pointless don’t you think?

So how do you get a spirit (spiritual body)? You need to ask God to give you this spirit. But He will only give a spirit to those who qualify to live in Heaven, that is, those who are 100% perfect. Well there go the chances of anyone ever to live on this planet getting a spirit.

Well God who loves us undeserving miserable creatures, for a reason beyond my comprehension, has made a way for us to become perfect. But it is going to cost Him so much that He is not prepared to put a price tag on it.

You will not get perfect by how good you are now, because you cannot take away what you’ve done in the past. God on the other hand can. But He will have to pay the price that He Himself set for disobeying God. A human who is perfect can pay for someone else’s sin, but there are no perfect humans about to do this for us. We have to pay for our own sins, and the penalty for sin is death (Numbers 18:22)

So He came in the form of Jesus Christ and was crucified as an offering that He should accept which would completely remove all sin and guarantee perfection. But now God is not just going to hand this precious gift out to all those who do not want it, only to those who do. The ones who want this perfection in the sight of God have to:

1.     accept, by faith, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God;

2.     believe that Jesus’ death is the full and final payment for their sin, past, present and future.

3.     accept that they are not their own bosses any longer, but rather they are God’s servants.

God then elevates those who remain in this state of servant hood (to God first and then to their fellow man) the status of Child of God.

Now these children of God (who are perfect in God’s eyes) can receive a spirit from Him.

You may be wondering how God could take away the sins of people from the past, present and future. Well, God exists outside of time. In eternity there is no past present or future. The final state is what is seen and it either is sinful or it is not.

But here comes the warning. We know Hell was not prepared for humans. It was prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41) It was prepared for spirits who rebel against God. Should a Child of God (who now has a spirit) turn against God and reject Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. God is not able to take away the spirit that He has given that Ex-Child of God because it was given without any strings attached. This spirit, which encapsulates the soul of this human, has to be cast outside of God’s presence, which is Hell, along with the Devil and his Angels. The only chance such a human has is to return to God before they die and ask Him to forgive them. God is faithful and will always forgive and welcome His prodigal children home (Luke 15:10 - 32). But if they die before they get the chance to turn back, their eternal destination is hell.

Where is Hell? Let us turn this around a little. Hell is away from God and all of His glory. We exist surrounded by the glory of God’s creation (Isaiah 6:3). If we did not have our senses we would not experience His glory. The equivalent of Hell is to exist without your senses, which by the way is impossible to do. According to tests done in the United States they put people into an environment where they could not see, hear, taste, touch or smell. Within half an hour these people became delusional and strangely enough, the worst of their nightmares became a reality to them. They were fortunate; they could get out of this hell (removal from experiencing God). If you qualify for hell, you never come out.

Jesus said they would be thrown out into the darkness where there would be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 22:1 - 13) A baby born with only 1 or 2 of its senses working eventually screams itself to death. Consider eternity like this and then commit yourself to never turn away from the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control (Galatians 5:22 - 23) that God so lovingly lavishes upon His children.

Now that we understand this a bit better, and we may need to re-read it a few times for it to really sink in, we can see that God is not being unfair to people who do not believe. But if we want all that God has for us, we will have to do it all His way. We are the clay and He is the potter (Romans 9:14 - 33). He is God in the Almighty sense of the word. We are merely dust mixed with ash with a soul holding us together while God allows us to continue our short little lives on this tiny planet within His vast universe.

Let’s get a little perspective.

Then perhaps we might see ourselves as He sees us.

We must bear in mind though that we hold vast and precious potential for God. We are the only creatures ever created that can hold a spirit (spiritual body). So God would love to give you a spirit and raise you as one of His children. But this choice He leaves to you. He is a gentleman and will never force His will on you.

Thankyou for visiting this page.  brother and sisters have also popped in.

You are most welcome to return again.

May God Almighty, Who sees and nurtures your spirit, show you that you are the spirit and not the body.
