 Welcome to the Aquila, the Imperial generals compendium to commanding an army of the Emperors finest. I am known by most as the Archivist and I will be your guide. I am well versed in the sags of old, tales of Heroism, tactics, cunning and, most often, luck. For luck is the most important quality any leader can possess.

As you can see The Aquilla is still in its early stages of development, into the number one warhammer 40k site of this millennia, and the 38 others to follow. I will be updating the site daily, until otherwise stated, so please check back regularly.
I am hoping to set up an online community of players allied under the banner of the two headed eagle, to give the emperors forces all the support and tips they can get to ensure the defeat of those who dare oppose the Emperors might and to give guidance on gaming, tactics, modeling, painting and, my personal favourite, scenery making. Even Background information and stories of the 40k universe.
I hope you will return to the archives of the Aquila regularly and i hope to speak to you again ( via chat rooms i hope).

Sorry where was I? ah yes, the broken link to the Firebrands page has been fixed, for ALL of the visitors to our site. you know how many there are.
A special intersite links page will be set up to give easy access to all of the "hidden" pages on our website, those being pages not displayed in the navigation bar such as the afore mentioned Firebrands story page.this will probably be on the Links and Contacts page
Ther Will be an web questionaire about your army posted soon so please take some time to fill it out.

Hello, and Welcome to The Aquila. the site has now been up and running since yesterday and as of yet there has been, as expected, no real member input. The site is still in its early days of construction yet and has not yet reached its full potential.
The Aquila went global on search engines yesterday so we should be soon appearing on all of the major search engines across the world.
As of yet there are very few sites linking The Aquila to the main web and so we are over this week going to try and improve that, if you own a web site we would much appreciate it if you would link to us as it will improve our ratings and ,as we will link back, will improve yours too.
Projected for the near future:
Members database will be set up allowing all members to receive weekly updates straight to their inbox and allowing for off-site instant messaging via MSN messenger and Zango for all those who have it.
More firebrands stories
links will be added to Games Workshops most interesting and helpful pages and the best P.D.F files from any of games workshops affiliates will also be linked to our site so that they are much easier to find
