What's "The Alloy"?
At The Alloy, we know that writing doesn't come easily for everyone. There are so many things to remember. Where to use a semicolon, whether the apostrophe goes before or after the s, and what to do with those silly little quotation marks. Not only are there grammar rules, there's the struggle of making your writing even make sense.
The Alloy is a place where you can submit your writing for editing and suggestions. We don't do your work for you, but we do point you in the right direction, and we're happy to help you along the way. We'll give you feedback that will help improve your writing for essays, school publications, and even just simple assignments. We take the guesswork out of proofreading, editing, and revision.
So... how does it work?
All you have to do is email your writing to our chief editor, Jessica Peterson. She'll read it, edit it for mistakes, make some suggestions to improve the piece, and email it back to you as soon as possible (usually about one to two days).
