Hello there!

I suppose it would do well for you to know a little about me, seeing as I am the joint owner of this here site.
The idea of the site came about when Perfume and myself had to make mock websites for our college project. Being die-hard (Die Hard ... Get it?) Alan Rickman fans we made our mock websites based on Alan Rickman characters; Me - Metatron, Perfume - Professor Snape. One of us -I forget who- said; "How cool would it be to make an Alan Rickman fansite?". Thus, thealanrickman was born.
I generally manage the technical side of things - layouts, graphics etc.

I'm 19 and I live in England. At the moment I'm at college studying Film and TV production - Perfume is on the same course as me; which is how we met. I love the course, although it can get stressful at times. Next year I'll be going onto University to continue with Film and TV production, so hopefully I'll get a job in the film industry

My love of Alan Rickman comes from seeing him as Professor Snape in the Harry Potter films; Snape is my favourite character from the books, and after first watching The Philosopher's Stone I knew that there is no other man who could play Snape.
From there on I discovered how brilliant Alan Rickman is in all of his roles, thus snowballing the obsession.

I'm an avid roleplayer, and I'm a part of several Harry Potter-related RP sites. Therefore, I love writing, although my original creativity is a bit non-existant these days.

I'm also addicted to Photoshop. I love making graphics. The majority of the graphics on the site and forum are made by yours truly. (Except the forum skin, that's someone else's, although I am working on creating my own).

People find me strange for liking Alan Rickman so much, especially considering my age. *glares at college tutor* I just laugh at them.

Incase you're interested, other *ahem* older celebrities I'm a bit obsessed with are: Jason Isaacs, Johnny Depp (who isn't?), Marilyn Manson, Twiggy Ramirez,Wednesday13 and Oded Fehr.

PS. I'm also female, despite taking on the name of Metatron.

Perfume

Heya!

Metatron has already explained how we got into the idea of creating an Alan Rickman Fansite so I won't repeat anything she's just said as no one likes to hear things twice. I would just like to say that I'm quite excited about this as I've never been involved in making a website before but each day I'm learning new things. At the moment, I would say I'm useful with ideas and the textual side of the site/forums.

I'm 20years old and am also from England. At the moment I'm at college studying a film and television production course (along withMetatron) with the hope of getting into the media industry however if that all fails, I'm going to open my own sandwich shop.

Next year I hope to go to China for 3-4 months or more to teach english.

I can't remember what got me into Alan Rickman but my liking has turned into a obsession over him. I think he's a very talented man and his voice...ooh don't get me started on that. Whatever role he plays, I like even with such charcters as Harry from Love Actually. I must agree with Metatron that he does play a very good Professor Snape.

I am a re-enactor for both the Viking and English Civil War period and have also created promotional, documentary videos for them and with the possibility of doing more.

Also we are obviously not Alan Rickman lookalikes (would be scary as we are both female), but the pictures next to our name are how you would know who we are in the forums.
