Dwarves are also short people, but not as short as hobbits. They live mostly in mountains and caves. They love treasure and spend lots of time digging for it in their great mines. They have big beards and people cannot tell the women and men apart. Gimli is the one dwarf in the fellowship. They do not get along well with elves, but Gimli and Legolas become good friends. Which doesn't happen often.
