SANDBACH SHOW
this was a very hot day and too many cars on a small car park and there were 9 of us. we parked up around 10.00am but we were all over the place and when the procession began the front of it arrived back before the last of the cars left to join it. so as we were still in the car park we decided to park up together in a corner for an easy escape out once the procession ended. by 2pm we escaped to the nags head for lunch and a beer i wont go on to much about the departure as i dont want to remind myself but those who went had a good laugh
CULCHETH SHOW
this was a last minute thing as we only got to know 4 days before but we still stole the show with 10 cars from our club out of the 30 there
this was a fate on the culcheth common to raise money for local charities so well done for turning up at such short notice and the car show side of it was organised by the sidevalve club

SHAW SHOW
brian only heard about the shaw show a week before and with him not going to wicksteed he decided to go as its only 2 miles from home
i only got the zoddy m.o.t.ed on the wednesday and had a few things to do to it and with the weather report not looking good and it was going to cost me a bit to get to wicksteed i decided to join bri two dogs and rob (anglia) at the shaw show
the show was on the main shopping street in shaw. there was around 100 cars, lorrys, buses and bikes on display and at 12.30 we went on a little run around the surrounding areas then back to the main street which was blocked off to everyday vehicles we stayed till 3.00 and called in on a guy who offered us some bits and pieces he had in his garage for 20 odd years
no pics for this show
MC/R CLASSIC FORD DAY
To be truthful i didnt expect much from this show so i didnt really push it on everyone as the carpark only holds 25-30 cars but it turned out to be a really enjoyable day there was a good turn out from our club and the mc/r classic ford lot to fill the carpark
so after a chat in the carpark we boarded the train to ramsbottom it was an old diesel train and it brought back some good times to the older folk with us. on arrival we took a walk around the town and the sunday market and then on to the pub after a drink or two we headed back but the smell of fish and chips stopped us in our tracks, we enjoyed them in the gardens of the church then of again to be stopped by the sight of an old sweet shop selling all the old time favourites and ice creme baileys flavour and rum & raisin it was nice
feeling bloated we got to the station to board a steam train back to heywood to find our cars still there but everyone else gone so off to bri's for a coffee and home
if this is on again next year i will push it a little more as we all enjoyed the day out and the train rides were free to classic car owners and a passenger
