In 1978 Daisy Long Legs was issued by Flair Toys.
She is the larger version of Daisy, she measures about 15 inch (38 cm) tall.
By holding her by the hand she could be made to walk and dance.
This leaflet is in Dutch, French and Norwegian.
Daisy longlegs is a beatifull doll with her face slightly different from the 9 inch version.
The longlegs dolls I have do , in fact, all have slightly different faces from each other and the number on the back of the heads is also a bit different.
At the back of their head they all have the marking: 15.10.1977 ( I think this might be the production date) and they all have the number 7 1 4 2, but between these 2 series of numbers they all have their own number.
As far as I know she was sold in a pink dress called Razzamatazz(65402):
and there were 6 different fashions designed for her:
- Buster (65410):
- Maxims (65411):
- Checkmate (65312):
- Allibaba (65413):
- Follies (65414):
for a detail picture of the neckband, see 'it's in the details'
Veronica, thanks for the lovely pictures of your Follies-doll
- Sugarpie (65415) :
Just a little note for anyone who likes to debox the carded outfits:
There are 2 different kind of packages.
If you have the one with the plastic being sculpted the way the clothes are in the package, you won't have any problems with the clothes,
but if you have the package with only shoes & jewels apart, you'd better leave it carded, as the clothes were fixed in these packages with tape, and the tape leaves yellow staines on the clothes and it will be sticky as well.
As long as you leave these clothes carded, there's nothing wrong with it and you will have the joy of owning carded outfits.
