**WARNING: Spoilers for the trailer below!**
So, I went to see Transformers 2. The trailer was, 5 being average, a 7, in my opinion. The narrorator basicallly told about how the airbenders were extinct, while a cloaked figure with a staff surronded by a circle of candles in a small building resembling a small room in an air temple is airbending. (Don't worry, you can see the air). As he talks, the figure runs around, airbends, knocking out sections of the flames on the candles at a time. Then, when the narrorator stops, you get the first look at Aang's face. (He's really, really young. Too young, in my opinion, but that's just me.) You zoom out, and then you see all of the air temple, then the camera turns, and you see an armada of fire nation ships, flinging (real looking) fireballs at the temple.

Okay, the only way I can describe this is W.O.W. I am not exactly happy with our first glance at Noah, what about you guys? He looks eight years old! Dev, however, is NAILING Zuko. I love his pictures so far. However, I think the make-up artists should have made Zuko's scar and Aang's arrow more noticable. You can barely see it! However, the movie isn't completly suckish yet. I'm still anxiously awaiting the preview we get this summer in the previews for Transformers 2. What are your thoughts on this? Post in the forum and comment here!

Jackson-Rathbone Online ,has a recent post regarding The Last Airbender film.
They say,
"The cast and crew of the M. Night Shyamalan flick The Last Airbender are due back anon from Greenland, where temps were 4 below zero during shooting of icy landscapes. During their downtime, the Airbenders screened Raiders of the Lost Ark in an auditorium - it was Airbender producer Frank Marshall’s first producing credit - and actor Jackson Rathbone played a set on guitar at a local pub. Shooting resumes on a Philly soundstage on April 3rd."
"Jackson Rathbone and the cast of M. Knight Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender have thawed out from their two week filming stint in Greenland. They are now back in Pennsylvania where they will be filming in the Reading area (notably the pagoda near Mount Penn) before returning to Philly where Shyamalan prefers to shoot many of his films.
According to town officials:
“They needed buildings to shoot all the interiors,” Shupp said. “They were looking for a group of buildings with high ceilings and specific column spacing. We showed them a number of buildings, but we couldn’t come up with enough to meet their requirements. So the interiors will be shot in Philadelphia (where Shyamalan is based).”Jackson will be hopping between the New Moon and Last Airbender sets as he is needed for filming. If you need your Jackson fix, look for Jackson on April 8th on criminal Minds on CBS."

"We recently got our hands on a pretty cool picture snapped at one of the production warehouses or sets for the The Last Airbender.
It's of what appears to be 2 Fire Nation soldiers, and in the
background you can see ice-blocks from what we assume are parts of the
Southern Water Tribe set.
So there it is, our first look at costumed characters for The Last Airbender!
Brought to you exclusively by us! Filming for the live-action feature
will begin soon in various parts of Philadelphia and its surrounding
areas, with filming at the Pagoda on Mount Penn happening April 5th.
Stay tuned for more!"
Hey fellow Avatards and fans! We just recently added a gallery page where we will be posting photos from the various sets and shooting locations of The Last Airbender.
We just added 4 photos from a location in Reading, PA that were taken
today. The fan that sent them in said they saw crew members setting up
pyrotechnics there. Stay tuned for more!

"
"Once again we have 4 photos from the Reading, PA shooting location for The Last Airbender for you guys! Our reader that sent the photos in said that this location is right in front
of the Pagoda. Apparently it rained recently and that brought out a lot
of details, and it looks as if they've added a lot more corpses to the
field.

"
The sets are looking ah-mazing! You can view the pictures in higher quality and larger area here, our source, LAF.

STEPHEN PARFITT will have his work in the movie “The Last Airbender,” directed by famed writer and director M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN, and in a shop Parfitt will open at 107 E. Washington St. at the end of April. Parfitt’s work caught the attention of a prop person with “The Last Airbender” through Parfitt’s online sales of his items.
“It started off that they were going to want a good handful of things,” says Parfitt, 35. “Then it turned out that they were working with somebody else, but I’ve got a few things that I’ve sent to them that were for the movie.”
The two main items Parfitt sent were effigy carvings — one of a whale and another of a walrus head. Part of the movie will take place in an Eskimo village.
“I was real excited, actually, because he’s directed ‘Signs’ and ‘The Sixth Sense.’ He’s a big, cool, well-respected director,” Parfitt says.
Parfitt and his wife, Lisa, have two sons — Bruin, 11, and Phelan, 13 — who are fans of the Nicktoons series “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” upon which the movie is based. Parfitt plans to continue working part-time at La Bead, Oh! at 1500 S. Sixth St., after he opens his downtown shop (303-2772), which he plans to call Ancient Circles.
“I do a lot of carving in bone and shell and antler and things like that. It’s going to be mostly finished jewelry,” Parfitt says. “I do everything from formal crystal and silver all the way to ethnic and tribal designs and men’s jewelry.”

Paramount Pictures is in Greenland filming scenes for a live action version of ‘Avatar, the Last Airbender’

The scenes are not set specifically in Greenland, but in the Arctic. Other scenes have been filmed in Vietnam. ‘Avatar, the Last Airbender’ is directed by Night Shymalan, who also directed the 1999 thriller ‘Sixth Sense’, starring Bruce Willis Greenland has previously been the backdrop for other films. Most recently, Disney filmed scenes in western Greenland using specially trained sledge dogs.
