"Okay, if you don't know me, my name is I live in Tucson AZ, and my parents both book meetings and conventions for meeting planners and hotels around the world. Basically, I asked her as a joke if she could book an AVATAR CONVENTION!! And SHE SAID YES!!!! So now, I'm trying to host an ALL AVATAR COMIC CON in AZ, either in may or June 2009, for 2-3 days. Nothing is final as of yet, as I need a total of 75 signups as 'maybe coming' or people that can probably make it. I have about 30 so far, and I need more! Deadline is December 20 to tell me as a maybe, or else I'm pushing back the entire con to after next summer. Details and everything later, but right now I just need enough people interested. So send me a comment or note, spread the word, tell all interested to contact me, and please spread it on other websites you're part of, including myspace and youtube. Please, I need about 45 more! Please! Any questions, contact me as well! thanks, Avatarone3If any of your friends are interested, please tell them to contact me on dA or email me at mscheller4@comcast.net
Thank you, and LONG LIVE AVATAR!!!"

According to this article, members of the video site can now download 36 of the 61 episodes of Avatar. This will be a pretty cool thing to know for all A:TLA fans.
Nick has posted an online survey for hard core Avatar fans to express their views on the future of the franchise. This is exciting news and a great opportunity for fans to get their voices heard by those who make many of the key merchandising decisions. If you have a minute, please take the time and check it out at Nickelodeon Avatar Survey.
Kya here, reporting that we've got some Avatar news! Animation Insider posts a report of Nick's 3rd Quarter for 2008. Avatar ranked 4th behind Spongebob, The Mighty Bee, and Back at the Barnyard for most watched shows for kids ages 2-11 on Nick in the 3rd quarter. You might think this is bad, but considering that Avatar only ran for one week on Nick in the 3rd Quarter, I think it's not half bad,
Kya here, reporting that: There is so little Avatar news right now, it's depressing.
Though the show is over, it still continues to get good ratings.
IGN continues its ratings of Season Two. Zuko Alone and The Chase are both highly praised in the interesting articles. I thought it was interesting how 208 was rated above 207, but hey, everyone has their own opinion.
Newarama review states that Avatar has the potential to be one of the best animated series of the decade, and the reviewer gives the epic fight scene between Aang and Ozai it's respectful place in the review.

As many of us know, their is an Avatar MMO out on Nick.com. It is called, "Avatar: Legends of the Arena". The release of this isn't very shocking, considering that the date has been known for quite a while. The game was a day late, but now it is up, and ready to play.
"Legends of the Arena" serves as a prequel story to the series, though Nick has some facts wrong. They say that Avatar Ruko has died, but it is a time of peace. In the episode "The Avatar and the Fire Lord", it clearly states that after Ruko was killed, the world was pulled into a war. (Sorry, I had to point that out)
Anyways, you can create your own Avatar character and play against players from around the world in several 3D online arenas. Over 75 countries launched it on September 16th. According an article I read, the game will also be an RPG as well as a battle game. Has anyone gotten to this part in the game yet? I haven't. There will be game tie-ins on Nicktoons Network this Fall.
There was also a demo played at the SDCC. This was the only new detail announced at Comic Con. (Besides Mike and Bryan taking a nice, but nasty, try at Zutara.)
