The Elf Girl

This is a place where I share my inspiration, and kind of give you some info on the book. Enjoy!

I was sitting around one day, surfing the net, when I came to a site called "Euthalia". This site is based on a book the person is writing. I explored for a while and thought the site was just fabulous. After a while, I suddenly got a thought "What if I could make something like this?". I already liked writing, and I was working on a novel at the time anyway. I decided that 'The Elf Girl' would be a wonderful thing to turn into a website, and eventually expanded on the idea.

These are the steps I wish to take for this novel. Things may change in the future, though, because writers like to change their minds

STEP 1- Planning and Research

This is where I will explore the traits of elves and come up with some of my own. I'll need to make diagrams, charts, maps...and all the rest of that good stuff.

STEP 2- Organization and Development of Plot

This is where I will organize my thoughts into a plot. But as you know, nothing is written in stone. This development of the plot may change in the future depending on what direction this story ends up going in.

STEP 3- Rough Copy

This is where I will begin typing the story, and write without much thought. Its my first copy...so it will not be perfect.

STEP 4- Editing

This is where I will try to make my story better. Not in the sense of mechanics and such, but in the story form. I want to work on using better verbs, adjectives, etc.

STEP 5- Revising

This is where I check for mechanics.

STEP 6- Final Copy

This is where I create my final copy.
