Deadly Aura

The era of the Han...

Welcome to Deadly Aura...

What is Deadly Aura? This website is dedicated entirely to Dynasty Warriors, my favorite topic in the entire world. Dynasty Warriors is not just a video game, but a living- or dead legend. Many years ago in the A.D.s, there lived a force called the Han. A common name for a Chinese dynasty. Anyways, three Kingdoms made up the Han, but they were not fighting with each other- but against one another. There was Wu, represented by the ambitious tiger, Wei, represented by the soaring phoenix, and Shu, represented by the honorable dragon. The three fought for the divided land, each kingdom in hopes to one day rule, and change the land.

So why Deadly Aura? You have to admit, a war between many kingdoms, including Yuan Shao, Roinin (a.k.a. Dong Zhuo's), Nanman and Yellow Turban. It does sound deadly- doesn't it?

The Basic Information

Anyways, this is what I can tell you: Dynasty warriors isn't just a video game, it is a very significant part of Chinese history. The Han forces warred against each other, fighting for power over the lands. They fought against other kingdoms such as Nanman, the Yellow Turban (translated into English), and other dangerous forces. worshiped on the battlefields were Guan Yu and Lu Bu, as well Zhao Yun, Zhou Thai, and many other warriors. The kingdoms that made the Han were Wu, Shu, and Wei. Wu eventually reigned victorious- or in other words, fell last.

It was lead by an elite family- the Sun family. Sun Jian, their father (it was unknown if he actually ruled, or if it was just his sons), Sun Ce, Sun Quan, and Lady Sun Shang Xiang, Sun Ce fell in love with the beautiful Da Qiao, while Sun Shang Xiang found love in another kingdom, putting her to much distress. The two were deeply in love, fighting through the words of others until it came to the time that shang Xiang had to make up her mind- her family or her love. Eventually, when dedicating herself entirely to Wu, her love was slain, and the poor, heartbroken girl commit suicide, drowning herself in a river. Wu was represented by the ambitious tiger.

Shu was ruled by Sun Shang Xiang's love, Liu Bei. After meeting a fugitive named Guan Yu, and a rather drunken man named Zhang Fei, the three together swore brotherhood in a peach garden and ruled Shu. Liu Bei titled the most powerful of his generals the Tiger generals. Zhao Yun, Ma Chao, Huang Zhong, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei. The kingdom was represented by the honorable dragon.

Wei was ruled by a man named Cao Cao. He was ambitious, brutal, and cruel. Not to mention, very powerful. In his life, under his blade, many died. He even killed the most powerful in the entire era of the Han, Lu Bu. His son, Cao Pi, was just as cruel as he. Cao Pi fell in love with the great beauty Zhen Lou, also known as Zhen Ji. However, when rumors spread that she had fallen in love with their son Cao Rui, his second lady rode this into her power and soon had Lou executed.

Cao Rui was infuriated when he discovered this. He ordered for Guo Nuwang, Cao Pi's second lady, executed the same way Lou had been. The kingdom is recognized as a soaring phoenix.

Nanman was ruled by two lovers, Zhu Rong, a feisty more mature woman, and Meng Huo, the king. Together they fought against whatever stood in their way, and lead many ambushes on Shu. They attacked seven times, all attempts failing. However, the two and their loyal wearrios eventually joined Shu.

Lu Bu's kingdom, technically Dong Zhuo's was known as Roinin. Dong Zhuo was the stepfather of the brutal, not so bright Lu Bu. He cheered for his stepson in all of Lu Bu's duels. However, when falling in love with a "hired" seductress who would fool Lu Bu into betraying his own stepfather. Diao Chan tricked both of them into disliking and suspecting one another. Eventually, Lu Bu killed his own stepfather- again, for his beloved Lady Diao. (His congupine.)

Then, there was the Yellow Turban, a nation of Taoist people. They had strong beliefs in the heaven, and were ruled by a religious man named Zhang Jiao. (Jiao was not very bright according to the novel, failing many tests- and as well failing to find any work that would hire him.) He and his people such as Zhang Bao and Zhang Liang were said to be able to do magic, such as summoning rainstorms, boulders, and more.

Yuan Shao, and the Yuan family ruled a kingdom to themselves. He once ruled a valuable warrior named Zhang He who eventually quit and left to join Cao Cao (the ruler of Wei) and his kingdom. Shao as well owned a mighty, honorable, valiant general named Zhao Yun, who eventually left believing that Yuan Shao was not honorable.

As you can see, Dynasty Warriors holds a large history in China. It is a novel, which in english can be read at:
